With a strong theme of heroes and heroics running throughout the ship – the Carnival Valor is perfect for family holidays on the seas. The middle sister in the five-strong Conquest Class, the Carnival Valor specialises in relaxing family cruises around the Caribbean and Bahamas.
Busts and images of heroes (mostly from US history) are dotted around the ship with the likes of Abraham Lincoln and George Washington casting their careful gazes over all the excitement and fun of the Carnival Valor. With gilded eagles perched on pedestals – the ship almost feels like a long victory parade for conquerors of the sea.
Despite being barely a decade-old, the carnival Valor has twice undergone refurbishments and renovations to ensure it offers the most up-to-date entertainment venues and dining options – creating a truly unforgettable experience on the seas.
Ensuring that not one second at sea need be wasted, the Carnival Valor benefits from a wide range of entertainment venues and shows. From musicals to theatrical productions – the stage shows will have you gripped and on the edge of your seat.
For a slight change of pace – the Punchliner Comedy Club gives guests the chance to enjoy the jokes and observations of some of the wittiest people on the open ocean. The family-friendly shows provide the perfect end to a hugely enjoyable day at sea.
A huge array of dining options are available to satisfy all appetites, palates and moods aboard the Carnival Valor. From the classic dishes of the Steakhouse to the specialist dining of Mongolian Wok – there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy – from decadent meals to light bites.
Even the fussiest of children can be accommodated aboard the Carnival Valor with a number of the on-board restaurants offering comprehensive kids’ menus. The Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast also offers child-friendly and whimsical breakfast choices such as multi-coloured waffles and towering pancake stacks, alongside the chance to meet their favourite characters from the wacky world of Dr Seuss.
Like all Carnival Cruise Line ships, there is plenty for the children to enjoy aboard the Valor. The Seaside Theatre is a stunning open air cinema showcasing family favourites and Hollywood blockbusters under the stars.
The Camp Carnival kids clubs offers three age-specific (2-5, 6-8 and 9-11) care groups – giving the kids a chance to meet new friends and play the day away. The camp offers a series of different games and activities including dance competitions and video game tournaments.
