Celebrity Summit offers all the fun of bigger ships with the level of personal service you can expect only on a Celebrity cruise. Since 2001, the 91,000-ton, 1,950-passenger Summit has been cruising to Bermuda, Canada, New England in the United States, and the Caribbean.

Celebrity Summit Recreation

Passengers onboard Celebrity Summit enjoy a variety of activities and entertainment to suit all interests. Sports fanatics can play basketball on the full-size court or paddle tennis. The pool area features a family swimming pool as well as a dedicated sports pool for swimming laps. Runners will love hitting the outdoor jogging track in the sea breeze. Fitness classes, spa treatments in the 25,000-square-foot AquaSpa, and wellness seminars are available through the Celebrity Life Renew program. Budding chefs and foodies will love the Savor program, which features wine-tasting, cooking demonstrations, and even mixology demonstrations. Celebrity Cruises offer a wide range of options for family fun, including the Discovery program which features educational lectures, scrapbooking demonstrations, Rosetta Stone language lessons, technology classes, and dance lessons. Activities for kids available through the Fun Factory include movies, hands-on workshops, computer games, guitar lessons, and more. Teens can hang out in the Tower, which doubles as a teen club. Notes music library offers over 19,000 musical selections available at private listening stations. Several bars and lounges and an onboard casino offer plenty of opportunities for nightlife.

Celebrity Summit Food

The ship's main dining room, Cosmopolitan Restaurant, features live piano music, sweeping panoramic views through floor-to-ceiling windows, and delicious gourmet dining prepared by world-class chefs using fresh ingredients. Like all Celebrity cruise dining experiences, you can expect outstanding personal service. The ship's casual dining venue, the Waterfall Cafe and Grill serves buffet-style food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with no reservations necessary. Cova Cafe is the destination for delicious light breakfast and gourmet coffee. For healthy spa-inspired cuisine, try AquaSpa Cafe. The ship's specialty dining venue, the Normandie Restaurant, offers tableside service with a historic flair with paneling taken from the original SS Normandie ocean liner.

Celebrity Summit Staterooms

Within the last decade, Celebrity Cruises have placed a greater emphasis on providing ocean view and balcony rooms throughout their ships. On Celebrity Summit, 853 of the ship's 1,059 cabins feature an ocean view and 538 offer a balcony. Standard amenities in all rooms include interactive televisions, telephones, hair dryers, bathrobes, minibars, comfortable twin-to-queen convertible beds, and bathroom with private shower. For an especially luxurious cruise holiday, Celebrity Summit offers 50 suites in a wide range of sizes. The Concierge class offers a little more space than standard rooms with a variety of extra perks, such as a pillow menu, fresh fruit, plush robes, upgraded shower heads, and expanded breakfast menus.
