This 93,000 tonne colossus has been around since 2007, ferrying her 2,384 guests as they feel the heat in the Caribbean and chill out in Alaska. Norwegian Pearl offers a family-friendly, relaxed atmosphere and you take in some of the most phenomenal scenery you can imagine.
Norwegian Pearl – What to do
If, on your family holiday, you want to have any peace and quiet at all, it is essential to ensure the children are kept entertained. Norwegian Cruise Line takes care of that, with the Aqua Kids Club, Internet Café, basketball, volleyball and tennis facilities, Kids Pool, video arcade and teenager-oriented Metro Centre ensuring they are kept out of mischief.
Norwegian Pearl can offer you a day of pampering at the South Pacific Spa and Beauty Salon, a relaxing day playing games in the Card Room, or a gentle jog around the ship’s specially constructed track. Norwegian Pearl was also the first of NCL's cruise liners to install a bowling alley.
Should you wish to relax with a drink, you can have a coffee at Java Café, or something stronger at Maltings Beer and Whiskey Bar. For something a little more exotic, head to Magnum’s Champagne and Wine Bar or Shakers Martini and Cocktail Bar. Starbar is entertainingly presented in the style of a 1930’s Speakeasy, while the Sake Bar offers a taste of Asia and the Spinnaker Lounge becomes a dance floor at night.
Norwegian Pearl – Where to eat
From the award-winning 5-course delight in the Russian-themed surroundings of Summer Palace to the sharp, modern décor and frequently updated specials board of the Indigo Main Dining Room, this Norwegian Cruise Line Ship ensures all tastes are catered for in her many eateries. Should you wish to look after yourself at the Great Outdoors buffet, or go for something completely different at the Sky High Bar and Grill, designed to look like a hot air balloon, you will not be disappointed.
Other options include the Italian home cooking at La Cucina, the refined French cuisine at Le Bistro, the juicy steaks prepared at Cagney’s Steakhouse and the Asian flavours of the Lotus Garden, with its Sushi and Sashimi bar showcasing the talents of its chefs.
The Staterooms of Norwegian Pearl
It does not get more luxurious than Norwegian Pearl’s three bedroom Garden Villas. Featuring a private garden and terrace, complete with hot tub, as well as separate dining and living areas, the Garden Villas deliver an unforgettable experience. The Family and Courtyard Villas also come across like medium-sized apartments, and the superb facilities render it a real pleasure to wake up there each morning. Penthouses, Romance Suites and Mini-Suites also offer a degree of privacy that can only add to the experience on board Norwegian Pearl.
The Balcony Staterooms offer picturesque surroundings complemented by a lovely view through the floor-to-ceiling windows, while the Oceanview Staterooms are cosy and pleasantly decorated. Inside Staterooms form the bulk of the accommodation on several decks, each providing clean, comfortable surroundings throughout your stay.
