Description

Crown Princess blends the intimate features of small Princess cruise ships with the fun and excitement of mega-sized ships. The ship is 113,000 tons and 951 feet with 19 decks and plenty of space for 3,599 passengers, but the innovative design and expansive public areas ensure that guests will never feel cramped on cruises to Canada; New England, USA; and the Caribbean.

Crown Princess Recreation

Crown Princess offers all of the entertainment and recreation features standard on Princess cruises with some extras. The Piazza atrium is the spot for performances, daily demonstrations, and people-watching. In the evening, lavish productions take place in the Princess Theater. The poolside outdoor theater also features recently released films under the stars. A casino, nightclub, and several bars offer live music and dancing. During the day, kids and teens will find fun and friendship at the ship's dedicated youth facilities, which offer daily activities like video games, interactive workshops and more. Passengers can also choose between a wide array of other daytime activities through the ScholarShip@Sea program which offers enrichment programs, seminars, and classes. Four pools and six hot tubs allow passengers to swim, sunbathe, play water games, or relax during the day. The adults-only Sanctuary is an innovative relaxation venue for pampering. Sports and recreation is plentiful onboard. There's a full gym with fitness equipment and classes, virtual and mini golf, jogging track, and sports courts for basketball and paddle tennis. Internet access is available at the 24-hour Internet cafe, and books are available in the library.

Crown Princess Food

Princess cruises are known for delicious gourmet dining options - the entire fleet has been inducted into the Chaine des Rotisseurs gastronomic society. Delectable meals and first-class service provide passengers with an unforgettable dining experience after every meal. The three main dining rooms serve classic entrees and a five-course dinner, and passengers can choose between traditional fixed seating or anytime dining. Sabatini's Italian Restaurant and the Crown Grill are the ship's specialty restaurants, and they offer an extra special dining experience for a cover charge. Passengers can also enjoy a private gourmet meal on their stateroom balcony for $100 per passenger. The ship's buffet and the Cafe Caribe offer 24-hour service. Wine and seafood is available at Vines. A traditional afternoon tea is served each day.
