Launched in 2001, the Golden Princess is part of the Grand class of Princess cruise ships. At nearly 109,000 tons and 951 feet, the Golden Princess is large enough to accommodate 2,600 passengers on year-round voyages Hawaii and leisurely cruises to nowhere.

Golden Princess Food

Gourmet food is a Princess cruise specialty, and every ship is a part of the prestigious Chaine des Rotisseurs gastronomic society. You have a wide variety of dining options on the ship, and all of them offer delicious menus with mouthwatering cuisine. Choose between traditional seating or an anytime schedule in the ship's three main dining rooms. Formal meals are served with world-class service in an elegant atmosphere. Two specialty restaurants - Sabatini's and Crown Grill - serve delicious Italian food and steaks for a small fee. For a truly unforgettable dining experience, a multi-course meal is available with private in-suite service through Ultimate Balcony Dining. The Horizon Court and Bistro serves a 24-hour buffet for casual dining. The International Cafe is also open with a la carte dining 24 hours. A pizzeria, ice cream bar, wine bar, and poolside grill provide plenty of opportunities to snack throughout the day (and night). Afternoon tea is served every day in the dining room, and 24-hour room service is also available.

Golden Princess Staterooms

With an emphasis on affordable balcony rooms, Golden Princess features an incredible 736 rooms with balconies. Standard cabin sizes range from 160 square feet to 864 square feet in the Grand Suite. Middle of the road mini-suites offer extra amenities and space, plus a sitting room and bathtub. All standard cabins include private bathrooms with showers, robes upon request, safes, refrigerators, hairdryers, and TVs offer featuring movies, CNN, ESPN, TNT, cartoons and Discovery Channel.
