Description

One of the smallest ships in the Princess cruise fleet, Royal Princess is only 30,277 tons and 592 feet with a maximum capacity of 710 passengers. Her small size makes lengthy cruises to Hawaii, the Panama Canal, Central America, and the South Pacific feel intimate and cozy, allowing passengers to get to know one another and the crew.

Royal Princess Recreation

Daytime activities and enrichment programs are plentiful onboard the Royal Princess. With activities like trivia, bingo, putt putt, and dance classes, you'll stay busy all day long. The Princess cruise favorite Ceramics@Sea allows passengers to design their own pottery. At night, the Cabaret Lounge features intimate live productions. Passengers can gamble through the night in the Grand Casino or mingle with other guests in the ship's many bars. With fewer passengers than megaships and lots of daily activities, there's always a lounge chair open at the main pool, which also features two hot tubs. Salon services and professional spa treatments are offered at the Lotus Spa, as well as a full gym and jogging track for keeping fit. Royal Princess also features an extensive library with over 4,000 titles available. Internet access is available 24 hours in the Internet Cafe, and WiFi is available throughout the ship. Several boutiques offer duty-free shopping on designer clothing, perfumes, alcohol, tobacco, and other items.

Royal Princess Food

Three separate dining venues onboard Royal Princess allow passengers to try something new every day. The main dining room, known as the Club Restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with traditional service. Passengers are able to get to know assigned waiters throughout the cruise, which allows for exceptional personal service. The Panorama Buffet is open throughout the day for more casual service. Passengers help themselves to a wide variety of foods. A pizzeria is open during off hours for snacking, and pizzas can be enjoyed in-cabin for a small delivery fee. If you'd rather not leave the pool for lunch, the poolside BBQ serves hot dogs, hamburgers, and more. Balcony holders are invited to enjoy a champagne breakfast or a romantic lobster dinner with private in-cabin service for an additional fee. Specialty restaurants Sabatini's Italian and Sterling Steakhouse provide a memorable experience. Afternoon tea in the main dining room offers a touch of class, while 24-hour room service guarantees you'll never go hungry.

Royal Princess Staterooms

Your Princess cruise cabin is designed to feel like home away from home with added touches of luxury. Standard cabins on Royal Princess include private bathrooms, showers, generous closet space, televisions with a wide array of programming options, safes, mini fridges, and desks. Oceanview rooms feature a picture window while balconies offer a private veranda where you can enjoy the fresh sea air and magnificent scenery. Two suite styles - the Penthouse and the Owner's Suite - provide additional space and perks, like larger balconies, separate seating areas, upgraded bedding, and bathtubs.
