Description
The Legend of the Seas has a remarkable history. It has traveled to more destinations than any other ship in the Royal Caribbean Cruises fleet since it’s launch in 1995, including Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific, Alaska, Central America, Caribbean, the Baltic, Mediterranean and the Middle East. The 70,000-ton, 867-foot ship with a capacity of 2,076 guests now sails exclusively to Asia.
Legend of the Seas Recreation
Legend of the Seas offers Royal Caribbean’s standard plethora of recreational options, such as a rock-climbing wall, mini golf course, multiple swimming pools, and complete fitness center with gym equipment and group classes. In inclement weather, passengers enjoy an indoor/outdoor pool with an innovative sliding roof to let the sun in when it’s shining and keep the rain out when it’s not. Nightlife is rich at the Casino Royale and the ship’s bars, which feature live music for dancing and a complete menu of cocktails. Spectacular views through the ship’s many floor-to-ceiling windows mean there’s always something beautiful to see. The ship’s Centrum is the spot for shopping and strolling. The Adventure Ocean youth facilities offer daily programs for children in separate age groups ages 3-17 years old.
Legend of the Seas Food
The elegant formal dining room on Legend of the Seas offers breathtaking views through its stunning glass walls. A grand entryway and chandelier add an air of refinement to your dining experience. Nightly dinner menus offer exotic cuisine as well as delicious favorites. For casual dining, the Windjammer Café serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the go with a variety of options on the many buffet tables.
Legend of the Seas Staterooms
Each and every stateroom onboard Legend of the Seas is designed with Royal Caribbean’s guests’ comfort in mind. Accommodations in every class include private bathroom with shower, a television with free movies, telephone, safe, and hair dryer. Interior rooms offer the same basic comforts as pricier accommodations. Each exterior room includes a window with a front-row seat to the beautiful scenery outside the ship. For added luxury, balcony rooms offer your own private balcony with magnificent ocean views. Suites include additional comforts such as whirlpool tubs, more space, and occasionally multiple rooms.
