Description

Part of Royal Caribbean Cruises' Freedom class of cruise ships, Liberty of the Seas is among the most family-friendly cruise ships in the fleet. At its launch in 2007, Liberty of the Seas was one of the largest cruise ship’s on the seas. Its since been overtaken by the Oasis class of Royal Caribbean ships, but the 160,000-ton, 1,112-foot, 3,634 passenger behemoth – which sails to the Caribbean and Western Mediterranean -- remains one of the most popular choices for cruisers of all ages.

Liberty of the Seas Recreation

You will never be bored onboard Liberty of the Seas even on sea days. Innovative recreational features include the rock-climbing wall – a staple on every Royal Caribbean cruise – as well as an ice-skating rink, full-size sports court, full-sized boxing ring (with lessons), mini golf course, Flowrider surfing simulator, and sports pool. The Adventure Ocean kids’ facility offers plenty of options for younger passengers (ages 3-17) to participate in games and activities with other kids, take a DJ class, or dance in the teen club. Kids even have their own pool area and water park, H20 Zone. Cantilevered whirlpools with see-through glass bottoms that hang 100 feet over the ocean offer a unique relaxation spot for adults. The Vitality Wellness Program and complete fitness facility offer plenty of opportunities to stay fit on your cruise holiday. Visit the day spa for a relaxing spa treatment, or blow off some steam after hours at one of the ship’s many bars. Casino Royale boasts over 300 slot machines and 19 tables. If you’re looking for duty-free shopping, the Royal Promenade features a number of shops, restaurants, and more. You can even join a Chefmakers Cooking Academy class and learn to cook like the masters.

Liberty of the Seas Food

The Freedom class of cruise ships offers one of the widest assortments of dining options on the seas. In addition to inclusive meals in the formal dining room, Windjammer Café, and Sorrento’s pizza, passengers have a wide variety of for-fee options for specialty gourmet food. The family-friendly Johnny Rockets Restaurant offers standard American fare like burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Portofino Italian Restaurant offers fine dining with an Italian twist. For a perfectly prepared steak, you’ll love Chops Grille. Visit Ben & Jerry’s after dinner for a delicious ice cream treat.

Liberty of the Seas Staterooms

Liberty of the Seas is one of the most modern cruise ships in the Royal Caribbean fleet, and this is evident in its staterooms. Extensive WiFi capability and cell phone connectivity is available in every stateroom. Full-size flat-screen televisions are also a staple in all staterooms regardless of class as well as private bathrooms. “Amazing Honeymoon”

Mr Wayne Boyd visited on 09/09 and recommended this ship.

Posted On: 14th Apr 2010

We booked what we thought was going to be the dream honeymoon.. New York, Then Cruise, from Miami, then Miami stay - We had never cruised before, so were a little apprehensive on what we would recieve !!.. What can I say - The cruise made this the "Dream Honeymoon"

The service on board was second to non - We booked a gauranteed balcony, and was upgraded on arrival to the ship - The service on board was amazing and you could not fault any of the public area's.

Met some amazing people, and had an amazing trip - Thanks to cruise1st for arranging the whole itinerary.
