Celebrity Century
Launched in 1995, the Celebrity Century cruise ship is one of Celebrity Cruises' flagships. The 15-year-old ship received a complete facelift in 2006 with major refurbishments to the staterooms, public areas, and spa. Debuting as an almost entirely new ship, the Celebrity Century now sails to the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and the Western Mediterranean.
Celebrity Century Recreation
The mid-sized Celebrity Century offers an intimate cruise experience with no shortage of onboard activity. During the day, you can catch a movie, play cards with other cruisers, or learn something new in the ship's computer classes. Enjoy a champagne or wine tasting, or attend a wine auction to take home exotic imported wines from around the world. The ship's pool area features two swimming pools, four whirlpools, and a dance floor where you can let loose. Celebrity Century cruises also feature a complete fitness center with equipment and classes, golf simulator, basketball court, and ping-pong for sporty guests. The AquaSpa was completely revamped as part of the ship's extensive renovation. In addition to being completely redecorated, the AquaSpa also features an acupuncture facility, relaxation room, steam showers, and a full list of salon and spa services. Even men can primp themselves with an onboard barbershop. In the evening, you can view the breathtaking scenery with a drink in hand at the Sunset Bar, then move to the Martini Bar or one of the ship's other bars and lounges for live music and cocktails or try your luck in Fortune's Casino. The Fun Factory offers daily activities for kids, and X-treme nightclub caters to teens.
Celebrity Century Food
You'll enjoy five-star gourmet cuisine on your Celebrity Cruise, and Celebrity Century offers a wide array of options to allow you to try something new every day. The elegant two-story dining room is open for breakfast, lunch, and formal dinner seating. Featuring delicious French cuisine, white-glove service, and incredible scenery through the ship's floor-to-ceiling windows, the main dining room makes every meal an event. The main dining room also offers a kid's menu as well as special options for vegetarians, healthy eaters, and guests with special dietary needs. The ship's buffet dining option, Casual Dining Boulevard, serves a delicious hot breakfast, salad bar, and more. For dining on the go, there's a Pizza and Pasta Center as well as a grill serving burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, and French fries. Specialty dining options include the Sushi Cafe, the glamorous gourmet Murano Restaurant, and Island Cafe. Sandwiches, snacks, and menu items from the dining room during lunch and dinner are available 24 hours through room service.

Celebrity Century's staterooms also received a complete update during the 2006 renovations. In addition to new contemporary furnishings, rooms now feature indulgent new mattresses and Egyptian cotton linens, flat-screen TVs broadcasting premium programming, and wireless Internet access.
