Diamond Princess is also one of the most family-friendly ships in the Princess cruise fleet - she provides over 10,000 square feet of space dedicated to youth passengers. In the evening, families enjoy West End-style performances in the glitzy Princess Theater. The Fun Zone and Teen Center offer daily programs for passengers under the age of 17, including crafts workshops, video game tournaments, movies, karaoke, and a splash pool. The whole family will enjoy Movies Under the Stars on the giant outdoor LED screen. Sports courts are available for playing basketball and paddle tennis. There's also a 9-hole mini golf course. Diamond Princess makes it easy to stay active. There's a state-of-the-art fitness center, jogging track, and lap pool as well as a virtual golf simulator with lessons for a pro. Diamond Princess features four swimming pools - one with a retractable roof for all-weather swimming and one that's designated adults-only if you're looking for a place to relax without kids. Each pool area has two hot tubs. Passengers are welcome to participate in the ship's many enrichment programs, including computer classes, dance lessons, educational lectures, and craft workshops. The casino, bars, and lounges are open every night until late for live music, dancing, drinks, and gambling.

When it comes to dining, Princess cruises focus on personal choice, offering passengers many different options for menus, venues, and service. For traditional, full-service dining, passengers can choose between four separate dining venues. Three of them offer flexible anytime dining, which allows passengers to select their time and tablemates. Specialty restaurants include Sabatini's Italian Restaurant and Sterling Steakhouse; both require reservations and charge a fee. In-stateroom balcony dining with private service is available through the Ultimate Balcony Dining option for an additional fee. Open seating and quick dining is offered at the Horizon Court 24-hour buffet, the poolside Trident Grill, Prego Pizzeria, and several cafes. An elegant afternoon tea is served each day, and snacks and sandwiches can be delivered to your stateroom via room service 24 hours a day.

Diamond Princess Staterooms
