Kruger National Park, wildlife experience that ranks one of the best in the Africa, it was established in 1898 so the wildlife of South Africa were protected. Its high density of wild animals includes the Big 5: Lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos, not only the big 5 but they also have hundreds of other mammals that make their home here, as well as diverse bird species such as vultures, eagles and storks. The landscape of the beautiful park is full of mountains, bush plains and tropical forests so all living animals can live in comfort.
If you want to experience the wildlife for yourself then why not sway through African bushes on the back of an elephant, the 12 fully trained African elephants will allow guests to sit on their backs on a comfortable canvas covered saddle positioned behind an experienced elephant handler where you can see all of the Park close up. Or if you want to see the history of the Park then see what lays in the Thulamla ruins near the Luvuhu River, Pafuri. This is an ancient African Kingdom where it gives you an insight of what African Culture was all about; it is known to be one of the most noteworthy Archaeological sites in South Africa. Or why not explore the safaris at the Timbavati Nature reserve where you are able to go on a wilderness walk where you have the chance to spot one of the ‘big five’. The Timbavati Private Nature Reserve is home to over 40 mammal species and over 350 bird species.
If you’re a bit conscious on experiencing wildlife from close-up then jump on one of the balloon flights that take place every early morning before the earth heats up, the site itself is in the beautiful Sabie River Valley where you can take off anywhere around the park depending on the wind direction, it could either float over fruit orchards and bushes, maybe forests and hills or it could even end up in the next valley or further, where ever you end up the view is breath-taking.
