Celebrity Cruises Introduces First Ever World Class Bar

Celebrity Cruises has introduced the world’s first ever permanent world class bar. Combining interactive and luxurious drinks experiences mixed by world class-certified mixologists with stunning surroundings – Celebrity Cruises claim the new bar is the world’s first and only permanent world class bar.

The cruise line has long placed significant impetus on creating exceptional spaces for passengers to drink and unwind, scouring the world for top quality mixologists and bartenders. The exclusive and unique menus developed by a highly-talented team of mixologists and drinks specialists feature cutting-edge cocktails which provide multi-sensory experiences.

The World Class Bar has been debuted on the Celebrity Eclipse and its success has inspired the cruise line to roll it out on the four remaining ships in the Solstice Class.

Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, President and CEO, Celebrity Cruises, explains: “Our award-winning culinary program gives guests the opportunity to indulge in new tastes and experiences during their vacation, and the World Class Bar will do this by offering the very best of mixology, custom-created craft cocktails and expert bartenders. World Class is at the forefront of contemporary cocktail culture, which is a perfect fit for Celebrity as we continue to bring modern luxury to affluent vacationers.”

The Celebrity Eclipse is something of a floating heaven for drink lovers looking for unique experiences. The ship also plays host to the Martini Bar, complete with a bar made of ice, and Cellar Masters – a wine club and bar for would-be sommeliers and lovers of the grape.

The ship is currently completing a selection of cruises throughout Scandinavia and Russia, exploring the beautiful Fjords and the most Eastern reaches of the continent.
