Bari has around 320,000 inhabitants and is one of the most important port and university city on the Adriatic. The National Archaeological Museum displays archaeological objects from all over Apulia. Other attractions include the Cathedral of San Sabino, chair of the bishops of Elijah and the manor house, which houses a museum with changing exhibitions.

Zakynthos is the third largest and southernmost of the Ionian Islands. The capital of the island is the city of the same name. Of particular interest is the marine national park, which is a nesting site of sea turtles. From the mountains, you have a wonderful view of the island and the surrounding area.

The Russian polar station Barentsburg is located on the ice fjord in Svalbard. It also serves as a housing estate for the coal mining industry. In spring and autumn, tourists can explore the site with snowmobiles.
