Batlra is one of the islands of the Galapagos archipelago and has a surface area of only 27 square meters. Despite its size, the Seymour Airport is located here and is used as a commercial airport to all of the archipelago.

The Rabida Island owes its red-coloured landscape to a mineral found in igneous rocks which stains the sand red. The 5 square-kilometer-island offers visitors unique views of the sea, a marvellous landscape and a variety of bird and plants species to discover.

At Sullivan Bay there are some stunning lava formations and a lava field that was created during a volcanic eruption over one hundred years ago. The beautiful white sand beach however, is still in tact and perfect for a day out relaxing.

The white sandy beaches are not only appealing to the tourists, but also the species of tourtoises which often next on the shore. Watch as the baby turtles make their first passage to the sea!

The Galapagos Islands are a good 965 km from the South American mainland and consist of 14 main islands and numerous smaller uninhabited islands. North Seymour is one of the smaller, uninhabited islands and is located to the north of Santa Cruz. North Seymour is known primarily for its colonies of Blue Footed Boobies and Magnificent Frigatebirds.

The population of the San Cristobal island has unfortunately affected the natural water balance and vegetation of the island greatly. The flora and fauna found here are therefore not that versatile. The port of Puerto Baquerizo is located on the island and is one of the largest ports in the Galapagos archipelago, attracting many tourists in and of itself.
