The island of Kefalonia impresses with its extensive beaches and beautiful mountain scenery. The most famous attraction is the village of Fiscardo, where there some typical Venetian buildings remain.

The port city of Kotor lies at the southeastern end of the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro. The city is surrounded by up 2000 meter high mountains. In 1979 the city was included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The 4.5 km long city wall and the Romanesque Cathedral of St. Tryphon Kotor are among the attractions. Kotor is an incredible historic city with several cathedrals and churches in the older part of the city.

Bari has around 320,000 inhabitants and is one of the most important port and university city on the Adriatic. The National Archaeological Museum displays archaeological objects from all over Apulia. Other attractions include the Cathedral of San Sabino, chair of the bishops of Elijah and the manor house, which houses a museum with changing exhibitions.

The second largest of the seven Ionian Islands, Corfu, is often referred to as 'the green island'. Among the attractions of Corfu is the Achilleion, a palace of the Empress Elizabeth of Austria, the old town and the viewing point 'Bella Vista' at Paleokastitsa. In the centre of Corfu is the Panagia Spiliotissa Catherdral and Platiteraklooster.

The small port town has about 300 inhabitants and is the starting point for trips to Olympia. Olympia was the site of the ancient Olympic Games. Impressively, visitors can see remains of the Temple of Zeus, the stadium and the Temple of Hera.

The Greek city of Thessaloniki was included on the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988 and is one of the most modern and important cities of the country. In Thessaloniki you will find a number of attractions including landmarks such as the White Tower and buildings from early Christian, Byzantine and Ottoman periods.

Kusadasi lies on the Turkish Aegean coast with about 59,000 inhabitants. Numerous sandy beaches are located in and around Kusadasi. The highlight of Kusadasi is, without doubt, the ruins of Ephesus. One of the oldest, largest and most important cities of Asia Minor, is located there. Kusadasi has an electric nightlife with the aegean party scene along with irish pubs and multilingual tours.
