Your tour begins in Calgary, a cosmopolitan city with strong western roots and ties to its cattle ranching past. Upon arrival make your own way to the tour hotel and check in for two nights.
‣ Calgary Stampede
Today, it's off to the Calgary Stampede which has been entertaining people since 1912! Travel to the Stampede grounds and visit the Midway, an authentic Native American village, various exhibits, and enjoy entertainment. The rodeo is the heart of the Calgary Stampede and you will have the opportunity to observe this festive show and cheer for one of your local favorites. (BB)
‣ Calgary – Lake Louise – Banff 
This morning enjoy the breathtaking scenery as you drive into the Rocky Mountains towards Banff National Park. The incredible glaciers, dramatic peaks and brilliant emerald waters of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake have wowed visitors since the 1890s. The “Jewel of the Canadian Rockies”, Lake Louise, and the world renowned Moraine Lake, are both part of a UNESCO world heritage site. Take  souvenir photos at both lakes and walk to the Rockpile, a spectacular viewpoint at Moraine Lake. Story telling abounds on this trip as you learn of the mountaineering history and local legends. Evening at leisure and overnight Banff. (BB)
‣ Banff – Columbia Icefield – Banff
This morning drive the famous Icefields Parkway (Highway 93) and Jasper National Parks from Banff north towards the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre. Considered the most beautiful drive in the world, the jaw-dropping scenery is punctuated by more than 100 ancient glaciers, waterfalls cascading from dramatic rock sprees and turquoise lakes set in sweeping valleys. Views of Crowfoot Glacier, Bow Summit and Mistaya Canyon are sure to please all who journey to this amazing part of the world. Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre gives you an opportunity to ride the specially designed “Ice Explorer” (pay locally) which takes you onto the surface of the stunning Columbia Glacier. In the afternoon return to Banff (BB)
‣ Transfer to Banff Station to board the iconic Rocky Mountaineer Train to begin your journey to Kamloops. Your journey takes you through a spectacular array of scenery as you travel between the glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior. Today's highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass and Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. Breakfast and lunch are included onboard. You will arrive in Kamloops between 6:30pm and 8:00pm PT and upon arrival at the Kamloops train siding, you will be transferred by motorcoach to your overnight accommodation. Spend the evening exploring the city, or relaxing in your hotel.(B,L)
Transfer to the station to reboard the Rocky Mountaineer Train. On today's journey west, you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the Interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Breakfast and lunch will be served onboard. You will arrive in Vancouver between 5:30 PM and 7:30PM. Disembark Rocky Mountaineer at Vancouver Station and transfer to hotel for two nights stay (B,L)
