Your tour itinerary in detail:
 

Your Tour:
‣ Day 1 Arrive in New York and make your own way to your Manhattan hotel for 2 nights (BB)
‣ Day 2 Free day in New York City. Enjoy a full day to tour, explore and shop your way around the city that never sleeps (BB)
​‣ Day 3 New York to Niagara Falls by coach. We depart from the Big Apple heading north where we pass the beautiful Delaware Water Gap to Watkins Glen State Park in the heart of the Finger Lakes region.
Walk through Watkins Glen Canyon to visit the stunning waterfalls, then continue on to Niagara Falls, passing Seneca Lake, arriving in the late afternoon. Spend the night at a hotel near the falls (BB)​
‣ Day 4 Niagara Falls. This morning enjoy a sightseeing excursion to Niagara Falls that including a cruise aboard Maid of the Mist (or similar ship) to take you up close to the world-famous Niagara Falls. Your afternoon is free, so consider visiting the Butterfly Conservatory, Great Gorge Adventure, Botanical Gardens, and Niagara Parks Greenhouse, or maybe ride the aerial cable car or take a walk behind the falls in the famous tunnels.
NOTE: Operation of the Niagara Falls sightseeing cruise is subject to favourable weather and/or river conditions. When weather is unfavourable, a walking tour through the scenic tunnels will be substituted. (BB)
​‣ Day 5 Niagara Falls to Corning and Washington DC
Head southeast through the Appalachian Mountains and into the Susquehanna River Valley. Make a stop in Corning and visit the famous Corning Museum of Glass. Then, travel onwards to the capital city of Washington DC for an overnight stay. (BB)
​‣ Day 6 Washington DC & Philadelphia Area
The nation's capital is a sightseeing treasure trove and your half-day tour with an experienced tour director features a visit to the Lincoln Memorial, National WWII Memorials and Washington Monument. Enjoy the chance of photo stops at Capitol Hill, the White House and other well-known sights. Coninue on to Philadelphia in the afternoon. The birthplace of American independence, the "City of Brotherly Love" is steeped in history and you enjoy a photo stop outside the famous Independence Hall, birthplace of the American Nation as we would come to know it (BB)
​‣ Day 7 Transfer to Port of New Jersey, Manhattan or Brooklyn
Today marks the end of your land tour; after breakfast transfer to port to enjoy your chosen cruise.
Whilst tipping is discretionary, an amount of $8-10 per day is suggested for our US tour guides.
