Though the target market for Explora Journeys are retirees and those over 55+ years of age, the luxury cruise line accommodates large families and other niche markets. Guests with small children are welcome on Explora Journey and even offer a special dedicated children’s programme to entertain young passengers throughout their journey. Solo passengers can also expect attentive services with specialised events for mingling with fellow shipmates. Lastly, those looking for a child-free cruise experience will be pleased with several adults-only areas located within the ships.

USEFUL INFORMATION

Booking an extensive journey? Guests will be happy to know laundry services are available onboard Explora Journeys cruises. As for formal nights, guests can leave their ballgowns and tuxedos at home, as Explora Journeys does not offer any formal nights. However, guests are recommended to follow an ‘Elegant Resort Casual Style’, but are not required to, as they do not have an official dress code onboard.

When will Explora Journeys Cruises begin cruising? 

Explora Journeys will launch in the summer of 2023 with Explora I’s maiden voyage on July 17, 2023. She is scheduled to depart from Southampton in the UK and sail to Northern Europe in route to Denmark.

What is the average capacity of passengers on Explora Journeys Cruises?

The passenger capacity on Explora I is 922 guests, however, very little information has been released for the remaining 5 ships in the fleet.

When will other ships in the fleet debut?

Explora II, III, IV, V and VI is scheduled to debut in 2024, 2026, 2027 and 2028 respectively, with both Explora IV and V debuting in 2027.

Are children allowed on Explora Journeys Cruises?  

Yes, children are allowed on Explora Journeys Cruises and very much welcome, as they offer special child-friendly spaces onboard.

Are singles and solo passengers permitted on Explora Journeys Cruises? 

Yes, singles and solo passengers are permitted on Explora Journeys Cruises, however, please note that the suites are designed for double occupancy and may incur a supplement charge for solo guests.

Is there Wi-Fi on Explora Journeys Cruises?
