Travel Tips for Carnival Cruise Line

DINING

The menus on Carnival cruises fit right in with their ‘fun first’ approach. From Celebrity chef Guy Fieri’s burgers and BBQ on Carnival Freedom to the prime cuts served in Fahrenheit 555 on Carnival Liberty, each ship in the fleet has restaurants to suit your appetite. Speedy sushi and pizza deliveries are perfect for grabbing a bite between activities, while the Seuss at Sea events bring character breakfasts onboard for little ones and nostalgic Mums and Dads.

ENTERTAINMENT

The list of Carnival’s onboard activities is almost endless. From live theatre shows and comedy sets to karaoke and quiz shows, there’s certainly no shortage of evening entertainment across the fleet. Blockbuster films play on IMAX screens and open-air screenings under the stars add a special twist to a quiet night at the movies. With daytime activities as diverse as mixology and mini golf, there are games, sports, classes and events for everyone to enjoy.

THINGS TO DO

You will never be bored on a Carnival cruise. Fun – and plenty of it, is their top priority, but there are places to relax too. Go for a jog with an ocean view on the running track, grab a bite to eat in one of the many onboard cafes or enjoy a little retail therapy in the shopping venues. For the ultimate way to relax, take a dip in the pool and catch an open-air movie or head to the spa for a massage.

FAMILY

From slides and sky rides to the first ocean-going rollercoaster, Carnival cruises always include plenty of ways to keep kids of all ages happy at sea. From onboard waterparks and mini golf to kids’ clubs and teen hangout spaces, there’s always something for the young ones to enjoy. IMAX cinemas, live quiz shows and video game arcades bring high-tech fun to sea days and, best of all, Mum and Dad can join in the fun too.

DESTINATIONS

Carnival cruises set sail from every US coast, putting places like the Caribbean and the Bahamas among their most sought-after itineraries, although their fleet of 26 ships isn’t just limited to North American ports. Two ships in Australia open up cruises to New Zealand and the South Pacific and part of the fleet sails in Europe. From Carnival’s weekend cruises to 16-night voyages that take in the Panama Canal, there’s a Carnival cruise for everyone.
