P&O world cruises generally market towards guests aged 50+, therefore P&O ships used for world cruises, such as Arcadia and Aurora, are exclusively for adults only. Guests under the age of 18, at the time of sailing departure, are not permitted on P&O world cruises.

Is laundry service available on P&O world cruises?

Yes, self-service laundry is available on all P&O world cruises, however, you must supply your own detergent, or purchase it on the ship. There is also a retractable clothes line wire available in each cabin bathroom.  

What type of power outlet is available on P&O world cruises?

Typical UK 3 pin power sockets are available all on P&O world cruises for guests within each cabin. The voltage on board Arcadia ship is 220V / 110V / 60HZ and 220V / 60HZ on board Aurora. 

Is smoking permitted on P&O world cruises?

Yes, smoking is permitted on P&O world cruises, however, only in certain open-air areas in specific decks. E-cigarettes are also included in these certain areas and prohibited elsewhere.  

Is there a dress code on P&O world cruises?

Yes, there is a dress code on P&O cruises which is to be followed in public areas of the ships after 18:00. Guests are requested to adhere to ‘Evening Casual’ and ‘Black Tie’ dressing; during the day, the dress code consists of typical holiday garments. 

Are there formal nights on P&O world cruises?

Yes, there are formal nights on P&O world cruises. Typically, there are 2 formal nights for a 7 night cruise duration and up to 4 during a 14 night cruise. Complete details will be provided to you before cruise departure.

Are there steam rooms or saunas available on P&O world cruises?

Yes, there are saunas and steam rooms available on P&O world cruises. The steam rooms and sauna are complimentary on board the Aurora ship, however, on Arcadia only the sauna is complimentary. The use of the steam room onboard Arcadia is combined with the Thermal Suite area which is only accessible for a fee.
