Familiarity and love the feel of the Crown Princess
Having to leave the ship
Well appointed and comfortable, beds are great and plenty of storage areas
We were able to be with people and not be with people if we didn't feel like socializing plenty of spaces to be left alone. the pools and spa at rear were not busy or packed it was very peaceful
The Mattresses need renewing it was the same in 2017 on the Sea Princess we had to remove the mattress topper
The mattresses were sagging in middle we had to remove mattress topper as it was too soft and very lumpy. This at least made the mattresses a bit more bearable but not really as sagged on either side and big lump in middle we had a queen (two singles together)
Service was always good. Serving staff were always pleasant and helpful. The lady at Cruise 1st who booked our 6 week holiday for us was very knowledgeable. Thank you so much. It went without a glitch.
Excursions were very expensive. We took the ships excursion to the Great Barrier Reef and although much more expensive than local boats it was very well organised. We had tenders at the port so we didn’t want to chance missing a local boat. It was a great day.
A small bathroom and small shower. Stateroom was an OK size but needed to be a bit bigger.
Very spacious mini-suite. Always the same steward who was very helpful. We felt very pampered. We lacked just a room thermometer. The air conditioning of the cabin was indeed regulated, unfortunately the man never knew how cold or warm it was.
