MSC Drinks Packages Explained

MSC Cruises provides four main drinks packages, each suited to different tastes and budgets. All packages include beverage gratuities, and most can be enjoyed across selected bars, buffets and main restaurants. Below is a clear breakdown of what each package includes.

Easy Package

The Easy Package is ideal for guests who want a wide selection of everyday drinks available across selected areas of the ship.

• ● Still and sparkling water – AQUA by MSC*
• ● Bottled and draught beer (selected brands)
• ● House wine and sparkling wine by the glass

Guests may enjoy up to 15 alcoholic drinks per day. This package is available in selected bars, buffets and main restaurants. It is not accepted in speciality restaurants or on private islands.
For Caribbean, North America and Alaska cruises, the Easy Package is only available to purchase pre-cruise.

*Mineral-enriched AQUA water may be served differently depending on the ship. If not available, bottled water is provided instead.

Premium Extra Package

The Premium Extra Package is MSC’s most comprehensive beverage option, offering an extensive selection of high-quality drinks available across the ship, including speciality restaurants and private islands.

Guests may consume up to 15 alcoholic drinks per day. This package is accepted in almost all onboard venues.

*AQUA water service varies by ship. Bottled water is provided if AQUA facilities are not available.

Alcohol-Free Package

This package is perfect for guests who prefer to avoid alcohol while still enjoying a full variety of refreshing drinks throughout their holiday.

Minors Package

The Minors Package offers a fun and varied drinks selection for younger guests, keeping hydration easy throughout the day.

How many drinks can I have per day with an MSC drinks package?

Guests on alcoholic drinks packages (Easy and Premium Extra) may enjoy up to 15 alcoholic drinks per day. Non-alcoholic beverages within these packages are unlimited.

Can I use my MSC drinks package on the private island?

The Premium Extra Package is accepted on MSC’s private islands, while the Easy and Alcohol-Free Packages are not valid on private island venues.

Can one person in the cabin purchase a drinks package and the other not?

No. MSC requires that all adult guests staying in the same cabin purchase the same drinks package to prevent sharing.

Are gratuities included in MSC drinks packages?

Yes. All MSC drinks packages include beverage gratuities, meaning you will not pay additional service charges when ordering drinks covered by your plan.

Can I buy a drinks package once onboard?

Drinks packages can usually be purchased both before the cruise and during the first days onboard. However, the Easy Package on Caribbean, North American and Alaska itineraries is only available for pre-cruise purchase.
