Which drinks package is right for you?

P&O Cruises offer four drinks packages on sailings of five nights or more, each tailored to different preferences and budgets. Packages can be purchased at booking with your Cruise1st Sales Agent, through your My P&O Cruises account before you sail, or onboard within the first two days.

Refresh Drinks Package

From £16 per person, per day

• ● Unlimited soft drinks and juices
• ● Ideal for kids, teens and non-drinkers
• ● Perfect for all-day refreshment without the extra cost

Alcohol-Free Drinks Package

From £29 per person, per day

• ● Includes everything in the Refresh package
• ● Costa Coffee, mocktails, bottled water and premium soft drinks included
• ● Great for those avoiding alcohol but still wanting plenty of choice

Classic Drinks Package

From £55 per person, per day onboard, or from £49 per person, per day when pre-booked (prices vary by cruise length)

• ● All soft drinks, Costa Coffee and teas from the Alcohol-Free package
• ● Beers, ciders, selected cocktails and wines (175ml)
• ● Selected spirits (25ml) and 20% off excluded drinks
• ● Children aged 17 or under receive the Refresh package free when adults choose Classic

Deluxe Drinks Package

From £65 per person, per day onboard, with lower rates available when pre-booked

• ● Premium spirits (50ml), craft beers, extended cocktail menus and wines (250ml)
• ● All soft drinks and Costa Coffee included
• ● Children aged 17 or under receive the Refresh package free when adults choose Deluxe

How to buy a drinks package

There are three simple ways to purchase your drinks package:

• ● Via My P&O Cruises — up to 3 days before departure
• ● Onboard — within the first two days of your cruise

If two or more adults share a cabin, all must purchase the same drinks package. Children can take the Refresh package separately when adults choose Classic or Deluxe.

Is a drinks package worth it?

Your choice depends on your drinking habits while onboard:

Are P&O drinks packages worth it?

They can be excellent value if you enjoy several drinks a day, including coffees, soft drinks, wines or cocktails. The more varied your daily drinks, the more likely a Classic or Deluxe package will save you money. Lighter drinkers may find the Refresh or Alcohol-Free options more suitable.

Can you share a P&O drinks package?

No, drinks packages cannot be shared between guests. Additionally, if multiple adults are travelling in the same cabin, all adults must purchase the same drinks package.

Are gratuities included in P&O drinks packages?

Yes. P&O Cruises do not add automatic gratuities or service charges to drinks, so the price you see is the price you pay — whether using a drinks package or paying individually.

What drinks are not included in the P&O drinks packages?

Exclusions vary slightly, but typically ultra-premium spirits, large-format wines, champagne by the bottle, souvenir glass drinks and certain speciality cocktails are not included. These are, however, usually discounted by 20% under Classic and Deluxe.

Can I upgrade my P&O drinks package once onboard?

Yes. You can upgrade your drinks package during the first two days of your cruise. The price will simply be adjusted based on your chosen upgrade, giving you full flexibility as you settle into your sailing.
