P&O Cruises Caribbean 2028

The Caribbean in 2028 with P&O Cruises takes in islands from Barbados to Antigua and Saint Kitts — and Cruise1st, one of the UK's leading cruise specialists, can put the whole trip together for you. Our experts know the P&O fleet inside out and will help you choose the cabin grade and fare inclusions that suit your trip. Because most sailings depart from Barbados or Antigua, the cruise is the middle of a longer holiday — we book the flights, the hotel either side and the transfers, as one Cruise1st Package, one booking, one team looking after you.

Where Do P&O Cruises Go in the Caribbean in 2028?

The bulk of P&O’s 2028 Caribbean programme is focused on the Southern Caribbean, which accounts for the lion’s share of sailings. A broader Caribbean selection rounds out the schedule, alongside a handful of Transatlantic crossings and one extended World Cruise sailing. Most itineraries run to 14 nights, though the range stretches considerably longer for those who want a more immersive voyage — right up to 124 nights for the world sailing.

The majority of sailings depart from Barbados, Antigua or Charlestown (Nevis), St. Kitts — so for most passengers, the cruise itself sits in the middle of a longer trip. Cruise1st can book your outbound and return flights, hotel nights either side, airport transfers and any tours you want, putting the whole holiday on a single booking. A smaller number of sailings operate as round trips ending back at Southampton, which means you can travel by road or rail and never set foot in an airport.

Whichever shape of itinerary suits you, our team will help you match it to the right ship, cabin grade and fare — so you arrive knowing exactly what is included and what is not.

Which Ships Sail the Caribbean with P&O in 2028?

Five ships from the P&O Cruises fleet carry Caribbean sailings in 2028. Arvia and Iona each carry the most departures, with the rest spread across Britannia, Arcadia and Aurora. Here is what sets each one apart.

Arvia

Launched in 2022, Arvia is P&O’s newest ship and the largest ever built specifically for the British cruise market. Its signature space is the SkyDome — 970 m² of retractable glass sheltering a swimming pool and a performance stage that drops in from above, a venue found nowhere else at sea. When you are not in the SkyDome, 30-plus dining and bar venues give you room to wander: Sindhu for Indian fine dining, The Epicurean for a seven-course tasting experience, The Glass House for wine, and the Keel & Cow gastropub for something more relaxed. See the full range of options on the Arvia cabins and deck plans page.

Iona

Iona launched in 2020 and sails year-round from Southampton as the largest ship doing so, with capacity for up to 5,200 guests. It shares the SkyDome concept with Arvia — the same 970 m² glass dome, the same pool, the same sense of being outdoors even when the weather says otherwise. Eighteen venues include Anderson’s gin bar (a proper gin library, not a hotel bar with a gin menu), Sindhu, The Epicurean, and The Chef’s Table for a more intimate evening. If you want to know how the decks are laid out before you pick a cabin, the Iona cabins and deck plans page has everything you need. Note that Iona is able to run on LNG as well as conventional fuel — a meaningful step for a ship this size.

Britannia

Named by Queen Elizabeth II in 2015, Britannia is as close to a flagship as P&O has in spirit. Thirteen restaurants and cafés carry menus contributed by Marco Pierre White, Atul Kochhar and James Martin — a line-up that reflects how seriously P&O takes food on this ship. The entertainment programme is anchored by the Headliners Theatre, with LED immersive technology, the Limelight Club cabaret, and the Crystal Room. The Britannia cabins and deck plans page covers every grade in detail.

Arcadia

Arcadia offers a quieter, more classic P&O experience. The Palladium is a 3-tier theatre built for full-scale production shows. Marco Pierre White’s Ocean Grill brings a restaurant-quality evening to sea. And the onboard hydrotherapy pool gives you somewhere to properly unwind after a day ashore. The Arcadia cabins and deck plans page covers its grades in full.

Aurora

Aurora is a mid-sized, classic ship with a distinctly British character — a little less frenetic than the larger vessels and well suited to passengers who prefer a more traditional pace. Check the Aurora cabins and deck plans page when you are ready to choose a cabin.

What Cabin Grades Are Available on Arvia and Iona?

Arvia Cabin Grades

Arvia’s cabins run from well-designed inside options to spacious suites. The grades below are listed from the most affordable to the most generous, and the Arvia cabins and deck plans page shows exactly where each sits on the ship.

  • Larger Inside Cabin OA — 15 m², sleeps 2 people. Noticeably more floor space than the standard inside grades, giving you genuinely more room to spread out on a longer voyage.
  • Suite B4 — 40.3 m², sleeps 4 people. Approximately 40–49 m² of living space — dramatically more room than any balcony or sea-view cabin.
  • Deluxe Balcony Cabin EA — 20 m², sleeps 2 people. Your own private outdoor space for fresh air and sunbathing, away from the shared decks that inside cabins lack entirely.
  • Family Sea View Suite BA — 40.3 m², sleeps 2 people. A private balcony that comes only with suite grades — the step up that makes a real difference on a 14-night sailing.

Iona Cabin Grades

Iona offers a similar range, with cabin sizes that reward careful comparison. See the full layout on the Iona cabins and deck plans page.

  • Larger Inside Cabin OA — 17 m², sleeps 2 people. One of the roomier inside cabins on the ship — more space than the standard grades if comfort on a longer crossing matters to you.
  • Sea View Cabin LB — 19.5 m², sleeps 2 people. Natural light and an unobstructed sea view through a window or porthole — the essential step up from an inside cabin.
  • Balcony Cabin GB — 17.7 m², sleeps 2 people. Roughly 1–2 m² more floor space than comparable balcony variants, plus your own outdoor space.
  • Suite B4 — 40.3 m², sleeps 2 people. Dedicated butler service throughout your voyage — personalised attention you won’t find in any other cabin category.

How Much Do P&O Caribbean Cruises Cost in 2028?

Prices start at £1,004 pp* for a P&O Caribbean sailing in 2028. On some departures you will find reductions of up to 29% from the price previously listed for that cabin grade — though that is the maximum on a small number of sailings, and most discounted departures sit closer to 18% off. It is worth asking our team which specific dates are currently reduced, as the picture changes regularly.

Fares are quoted per person based on 2 people sharing a cabin. Our experts can walk you through the different fare tiers — what each one includes, which add-ons represent genuine value, and which you can safely leave out.

Can I Book Flights and Hotels with My P&O Caribbean Cruise?

Yes — and for most of these sailings, you will need to. The majority of P&O’s 2028 Caribbean departures embark from Barbados, Antigua or Charlestown (Nevis), St. Kitts, which means a flight out and a flight home are part of the picture. Cruise1st can arrange both, along with a hotel the night before you sail, airport transfers at each end, and any shore tours you want to book in advance. Everything goes on one booking — a Cruise1st Package — so there is one team to call if anything needs adjusting.

If you are on one of the round-trip sailings returning to Southampton, you can reach the port by road or rail without touching an airport. We can add a hotel the night before departure or arrange a transfer from your home if that makes the journey easier.

Either way, our team builds the holiday around the cruise rather than leaving you to piece together the loose ends yourself.

Getting to Your Departure Port

Southampton is the UK departure port for the round-trip sailings in this programme. Most of Britain is well connected to Southampton by road or rail, and we can arrange a transfer, a pre-cruise hotel night or parking to take the stress out of embarkation day. For the fly-cruise sailings departing from Barbados, Antigua or Charlestown (Nevis), St. Kitts, we book the flights as part of your package — so you only have to show up at your UK departure airport.

For a broader look at cruises from Southampton across all lines and years, that page covers the full departure schedule.

Why Book Your P&O Caribbean 2028 Cruise with Cruise1st?

Cruise1st is one of the UK’s leading cruise specialists — not a general travel agent with a cruise tab, but a team whose day-to-day focus is exactly this kind of booking. That means expert advice from people who know the P&O fleet in detail: which ship suits which type of traveller, which cabin grades are worth upgrading to, and which fare inclusions change the value equation on a longer sailing.

We are ABTA and ATOL protected, and rated 4.5 out of 5 on Trustpilot from over 7,000 reviews. When you book a P&O Caribbean cruise with us, you are covered — and you have a real team to call before, during and after.

If you want to compare what else is sailing in 2028, the full P&O 2028 programme covers every destination, and the complete 2028 cruises listing spans all lines.

Planning a Different Date or Destination?

If the Caribbean is right but 2028 is not the only year you are considering, our Caribbean cruises 2028 page covers sailings across all lines. If you would rather fly less, Caribbean 2028 cruises from Southampton shows round-trip options leaving from the UK.

For those drawn to a longer voyage, P&O Transatlantic cruises in 2028 are available as part of this fleet’s schedule, and world cruises in 2028 span a range of lines including extended P&O sailings. If you want to see what P&O was doing the year before, P&O 2027 sailings from Southampton gives a useful point of comparison.

Looking at neighbouring lines? Princess Cruises 2028 from Southampton and Princess Cruises 2028 are strong alternatives sailing similar routes. The Caribbean 2028 cruises aboard Arvia page narrows things down if you have already settled on that ship, and 2028 sailings from Southampton aboard Arvia covers the no-fly options specifically.

For those who want to plan around Christmas or New Year, Christmas cruises from Southampton and New Year cruises from Southampton are worth a look alongside this programme. And if you are still weighing up destinations, world cruises 2028 from Southampton and world cruises 2027 from Southampton put the longer options in one place.

*Prices are per person based on 2 people sharing, and are subject to change. This price is not kept up to date and therefore does not reflect live pricing and availability. Prices and any discounts shown were checked on 14 October 2026.

Where a discount is shown, it is a reduction from the price previously listed for that cabin grade on that sailing, not a comparison between cabin grades or against a brochure rate. Discounts and prices shown are not kept up to date: the reduction available now may be smaller, or may have ended, and prices may have changed.
