Dining on AmaMagna

AmaMagna offers two distinct dining venues, both included in your cruise fare and open to all guests.

The Main Restaurant is the culinary heart of the ship — an elegant space with open seating times, regional cuisine and river views throughout. No set sittings, no assigned tables: you dine when and with whom you choose. For something more theatrical, The Chef’s Table offers a multi-course tasting menu prepared by a dedicated chef in front of you in an intimate setting. Both are covered by your fare, with no extra charge.

Complimentary specialty coffees and teas are available throughout the day from the Specialty Coffee & Tea Station — self-service, so you can grab a flat white before an early excursion or settle in for an afternoon brew at your own pace.

Bars, Lounges and On-Board Life

The Main Lounge is the social centre of the ship — a fully stocked bar, evening entertainment and port talks all happen here. The bar operates separately from your cruise fare unless you hold a beverage package, but the space itself is open to everyone and tends to be where the day’s stories get told.

The Sun Deck runs the full open upper deck and is the place to watch the Danube’s castles, vineyards and towns slide past. The Heated Sun-Deck Pool sits up here too, with an integrated swim-up bar — a genuine rarity on a river ship. A Walking Track circles the same deck for anyone who wants to keep moving.

Below decks, the Fitness Centre offers cardio and strength equipment at no extra cost (specialist fitness classes carry a charge). The Massage & Hair Salon is there for anyone who wants a treatment or blow-dry — the space is free to use; treatments themselves are charged separately. The Library provides a quieter corner with books and games, and the Gift Shop carries souvenirs and essentials. Guests also have access to a complimentary bicycle fleet — one of the most practical inclusions on any river ship, letting you pedal off independently at each port of call.

Cabins and Suites on AmaMagna

The Outside Cabin D on the Lower Deck is the entry point at 19 m² for two guests. Being on the lowest deck means it sits closest to the waterline — the most stable position on the ship, with minimal vessel movement, which some guests actively prefer.

The Balcony Suite SA on the Violin Deck steps up to 33 m² and sleeps up to four. That is roughly 10 m² more than a standard balcony cabin, in a suite layout that gives noticeably more room to spread out.

At the top sits the Owner’s Suite OS on the Upper Deck, which measures 66 m² and also sleeps up to four. It is the largest accommodation on board — a suite that gives couples or families genuine living space rather than a cleverly compressed cabin.

Do I Need to Book Flights Separately?

No — every AmaMagna sailing departs from Hungary or Germany, so you will need to fly, but Cruise1st can arrange the flights, any hotel nights either side and your transfers as part of a single Cruise1st Package booking. It is simpler and means everything is coordinated from the start.

What Is Included in the Cruise Fare?

Both dining venues — the Main Restaurant and The Chef’s Table — are included, as is the Specialty Coffee & Tea Station, the Heated Sun-Deck Pool, the Fitness Centre, the Walking Track, Sun Deck access, the Library and the complimentary bicycle fleet.
