So new it’s practically still sparkling, step onboard the Azamara Onward and go forth into new adventures in style.
Explore the newest ship from the Azamara fleet, the Azamara Onward. She benefits from being smaller than other cruise ships, while still retaining plenty of space for those looking to get away from it all. The nifty nature of the Azamara Onward ship means it can get to ports and locations other cruise ships can’t, so the sheer number of destinations you can explore with a journey aboard is truly something unique. While the Azamara Onward itineraries are good enough a reason themselves to buy a ticket, with locations as varied as the Iberian Peninsula and the bright lights of Miami, the five-star service on board means even if you weren’t seeing some of the world’s most special destinations, it would still be worth the cost. If you’re looking for real adventure but still want to travel in style, then an Azamara Onward cruise is perfect for you.

If food is the way to someone’s heart, then you’ll fall in love with the Azamara Onward. You can indulge in Haute Cuisine (and an excellent cocktail or three) at the Discoveries Bar and Restaurant, or be amazed by the delightful flavours of Aqualina, the ship’s specialist Italian restaurant. If you want seafood for your ocean cruising, then Prime C offers everything you need and more. And, if you’re keen for some more casual dining options to match your relaxed attitude, then there are a huge range of choices too. You can head to Windows Cafe buffet for a laidback but delicious experience, or sit yourself down at The Patio, a casual pool grill during the day that turns into a wonderful al fresco experience in the evening.
Despite its relatively small size, the Azamara Onward ship is still full of activities for all kinds of passengers. Those who love a bit of retail therapy can head to Indulgence, the boutique shopping area with high-end goods to rival even the most famous high streets. If you want to really treat yourself to some pampering, the Sanctum Spa offers a range of treatments. And, for those who just love a view, the Sunset Veranda is the perfect place to sit back, relax, and unwind while the sun disappears over the shimmering horizon. For some evening entertainment there’s always the Cabaret Lounge, where talented performers will make you giggle before hitting the sort of high notes that give you goosebumps.
With chic designs and world-class service, all cabins aboard the Azamara Onward feature amenities that wouldn’t be out of place in the most exclusive hotels in the world. With all the expected comforts like excellent beds and complimentary bath items, you also get fresh cut flowers daily to spruce up the space.
With that said, when you move up to the suite level of cabins, you’ll find yourself in a different level of class and comfort. With gorgeous sea views, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and a 24-hour concierge service, you’ll be living in the lap of luxury – and that’s not even mentioning the $300 onboard credit you’ll be able to enjoy.
The Azamara Onward ship is best for older passengers who are looking for the perfect mix of luxury and adventure. The smaller size of the ship means you get to visit lesser-known cruise destinations, but the focus on comfort and opulence means you’ll never be wanting for anything.
The Atlas Bar is probably the chicest, most upmarket venue onboard the ship thanks to its unique signature cocktails and world-class small plates. Nothing here is included in the ship’s complimentary offerings, however there’s no doubt it’s worth swinging by for a drink or two.
With over fifty itineraries that span everywhere from the cultural treasures of Greece by cruise to the idyllic beaches of the Caribbean, there’s an Azamara Onward cruise for everyone. Journeys can last as little as a few days or as long as three weeks, and will always include destinations that larger ships can’t dock at due to their bulk.
The Azamara Onward’s ship capacity is 670 passengers, who board alongside 375 crew.
The Azamara Onward’s maiden voyage was in May 2022 which took place along the Italian coast.
