Select ExpertWhile the focus on Chinese cruise-goers means that there’s a plethora of excellent east asian food, from the casual but delicious Noodle Bar to the high-end Teppanyaki, if you’re looking for a little more variety you’re still in luck. For a quick bite there’s spots like Dog House and Splashaway Cafe, but you can also indulge in some seriously gourmet eats at venues like Wonderland. And, if you want to feel truly pampered, room service is always an option, bringing all these culinary delights right to your bedroom.
While the Spectrum of the Seas has a jam packed itinerary when it comes to destinations, onboard there’s still hundreds of ways to pass the time. Be wowed by the magic and music of Showgirls, have a go on the surf simulator, or even just relax in one of the onboard whirlpools. That’s not even mentioning the game shows, massive movie nights, and dozens of activities purposely designed for kids and teens. Aboard the Spectrum of the Seas is, there’s almost too much to all fit in.
The cabins aboard the Spectrum of the Seas cruise ship are all built to the highest standards, with comfort and quality the driving forces of the design. Interior rooms are cosy and well-stocked with everything you’d need for your trip. And as you go up in price the perks only get better, as do the views from your bedroom. WIth that all said, there’s no doubt the suites aboard the Spectrum of the Seas are the epitome of class and comfort. The Suite Club offers private dining areas and access to exclusive parts of the ship, and the Family Suite comes with an inbuilt slide, a rock climbing wall, and an indoor cinema.
Spectrum of the Seas itineraries are generally quite short, ranging from three to nine nights in length. There are sixteen main routes, all based around South East Asia, giving you the opportunity to discover incredible destinations like Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore, as well as a host of other countries with plenty to offer. Some more remote destinations, like Borneo, require additional flights, but these are included in the cost of your ticket.
You can explore the cultural delights whilst cruising South-East Asia, or have the chance to spot rare wildlife in Borneo. If you’re also looking for some truly unique onboard experiences, you’re in luck: there’s everything from the unbelievable Sky Pad bungee experience to karaoke. Perfect for families, couples, and even solo travellers looking to meet like minded people, the Spectrum of the Seas will deliver everything you want in a cruise and more.
Spectrum of the Seas is in South-East Asia, where all of its itineraries take place.
Spectrum of the Seas is a Quantum Class ship, which is the second largest class of ship Royal Caribbean have.
The Spectrum of the Seas’s maiden voyage was on 18th April 2019.
