Where Do Royal Caribbean’s Vietnam Cruises Go?

Royal Caribbean’s sailings in this part of the world span East Asia, Southeast Asia, China and Japan, with Vietnam woven through itineraries that range from 4 to 25 nights — though most run around 14 nights, giving you a proper taste of the region rather than a whistle-stop. These are ocean cruises throughout, all sailing saltwater routes. It is worth knowing that sailings here are a mix of round trips and one-way voyages, so some return to their departure port and others do not. Check the itinerary shape before you book, and if your sailing ends somewhere different from where it began, our team can arrange the flight home as part of the same booking.

Where Do These Sailings Leave From?

There are 3 embarkation ports across these itineraries, each offering a different way into the region:

  • Singapore is the most popular starting point, with the majority of sailings departing from here. It is a natural gateway to Southeast Asia and Vietnam, and a destination worth spending a night or two in before you board — our team can arrange that stay as part of your package.
  • Hong Kong suits those who want to combine a city break with their cruise, and is a common starting point for East Asia itineraries that head through the South China Sea.
  • Yokohama (Tokyo) is the departure point for longer repositioning voyages that work their way south through Japan and into East and Southeast Asian waters.

Sailings end in Singapore, Yokohama (Tokyo) or Hong Kong depending on the itinerary, which is why checking the voyage shape matters — and why having us book the full trip in one go saves you the hassle of piecing together flights and hotels separately.

Which Royal Caribbean Ships Sail to Vietnam?

Royal Caribbean deploys four ships on these routes. Here is what each one is like aboard.

Navigator of the Seas

Navigator of the Seas carries the most sailings to this region. The ship’s top deck was extensively redesigned, and the centrepiece is the Blaster aqua coaster — the longest waterslide at sea — set within a 10-storey panoramic pool deck. The Lime & Coconut is a three-level pool bar built around hand-crafted cocktails and becomes the social hub of the ship once the sun comes out. When it comes to dining, Jamie Oliver’s Jamie’s Italian and Hooked Seafood sit alongside the original at-sea ice-skating rink and a FlowRider surf simulator that gives you something active to do on sea days. Explore the Navigator of the Seas cabins and deck plans to pick the right grade before you book.

Quantum of the Seas

Quantum of the Seas is one of the most technically ambitious ships afloat. The RipCord by iFLY skydiving simulator and the North Star observation pod — a glass capsule that rises high above the ship — are the headline acts, joined by Laser Tag and a SeaPlex sports complex with bumper cars. Two70° is unlike anything else at sea: floor-to-ceiling glass wraps the aft of the ship and the space doubles as a venue for roboshow performances on a wraparound screen. Bionic Bar robotic bartenders, Wonderland’s imaginative tasting menu and the broader dining line-up round out a ship that genuinely feels different. See the Quantum of the Seas cabins and deck plans for a full breakdown of grades.

Spectrum of the Seas

Spectrum of the Seas was built specifically for the East Asia market, and that shows in the dining: Dadong Wonderland Chinese cuisine, Jamie’s Italian and an Asian-fusion main dining room are among 16 restaurants on board. The North Star observation capsule rises 300 feet above sea level in an all-glass pod — a Royal Caribbean signature — while the RipCord by iFLY skydiving simulator and FlowRider surf simulator keep things lively across 16 decks. Browse the Spectrum of the Seas cabins and deck plans to see every grade.

Voyager of the Seas

Voyager of the Seas has the Studio B ice-skating rink at its heart — a full-size rink hosting professional ice shows with choreography and costumes, which remains one of the most distinctive experiences Royal Caribbean offers. On deck there is a FlowRider surf simulator, Perfect Storm waterslides and a rock climbing wall. In the evenings, the Pig & Whistle pub, the Champagne Bar and a Broadway-style production theatre cover every mood. Check the Voyager of the Seas cabins and deck plans for full deck-by-deck detail.

Which Cabin Grade Should You Choose?

All 4 ships offer a range of grades from interior through to suite. The details below cover the ships for which we hold full cabin data.

Navigator of the Seas

  • Inside cabin with Promenade view (2T) — 15.5 m², sleeps 2. The window looks directly onto the Royal Promenade, giving you the buzz of ship life without the cost of an outside cabin.
  • Ultra Spacious Ocean-view cabin (1K) — 30.5 m², sleeps 6. At roughly twice the floor space of a standard ocean-view cabin, this grade gives families and groups room to spread out.
  • Balcony cabin Spacious (1B) — 18.9 m², sleeps 4. Around 1 m² more than a standard balcony cabin — a small difference that adds up on longer itineraries.
  • Royal Suite (RS) with large balcony — 117.1 m², sleeps 4. The largest suite on the ship, complete with a grand piano. Designed for longer voyages when you want space to come home to each evening.

Quantum of the Seas

  • Inside cabin with virtual balcony (1U) — 15.4 m², sleeps 4. A high-definition screen broadcasts a live sea panorama in real time, giving you the feel of a sea view without the balcony price tag.
  • Large Ocean-view cabin (3M) — 19.9 m², sleeps 4. Around 3 m² more than a standard ocean-view, with the same sea views.
  • Balcony cabin (1D) with sea view — 18.4 m², sleeps 4. A private balcony with your own outdoor space and open sea views.
  • Royal Loft Suite — 152.4 m², sleeps 6. A two-level maisonette with a separate bedroom, lounge and dining area — the most spacious accommodation on the ship.

Spectrum of the Seas

  • Inside cabin with virtual balcony (1U) — 15.4 m², sleeps 4. Live sea views piped directly into your cabin via an HD screen.
  • Large Ocean-view cabin (3M) — 19.9 m², sleeps 4. An extra 3.9 m² over the standard ocean-view grade, at a sensible step up in price.
  • Balcony cabin with sea view (1D) — 18.4 m², sleeps 4. Your own balcony and unobstructed sea views, with fresh air whenever you want it.
  • Ultimate Family Suite (US) — 257 m², sleeps 10. Two levels of living space — the largest accommodation on the ship, more than five times the footprint of a standard inside cabin.

Not sure which grade works best for your trip length and budget? Our cruise experts are there before you book to talk through the options and help you choose the fare inclusions that suit you, whether that is a drinks package, specialty dining or something else.

What Does a Royal Caribbean Vietnam Cruise Include?

The base fare covers your cabin, main dining room meals, buffet, entertainment — the ice shows, the production theatre, the simulators — and use of the pools and fitness facilities. Specialty restaurants, drinks packages, shore excursions and spa treatments are generally priced separately, though fare types such as promotional bundle offers can bring some of these in. None of the sailings on these routes are all-inclusive in the traditional sense, so it is worth asking our team what the current fare options include when you call.

What Shore Experiences Can I Expect?

These itineraries move through some of the most varied shorelines in Asia. East Asian and Southeast Asian routes give you access to Vietnam’s coastline and neighbouring ports, with Royal Caribbean offering excursions that range from guided city tours and street food walks to bay cruises and cultural day trips. Longer itineraries — particularly those ending in Yokohama — give you more sea days and more port time, so there is room to take organised tours at some stops and explore independently at others. If you want excursions pre-booked and paid for as part of the package, our team can build those in.

Make It a Complete Holiday

Because every sailing here departs from Asia, a flight from the UK is always part of the picture — and so is the question of what to do at either end. As one of the UK’s leading cruise specialists, Cruise1st can put the whole trip together: outbound and return flights, hotels in Singapore, Hong Kong or Yokohama before or after your cruise, transfers between the airport and the port, tours and travel insurance, all on a single Cruise1st Package. You deal with one team, pay once and travel with everything sorted.

If you are looking for a Royal Caribbean voyage that starts closer to home, Royal Caribbean sailings from Southampton and Royal Caribbean fly-cruises with flights included are both worth a look. For other regions and years, browse Royal Caribbean cruises in 2027, including Royal Caribbean Japan cruises in 2027. Alternatively, if Southeast Asia appeals beyond Vietnam, Southeast Asia sailings from Southampton cover a different angle entirely. Japan enthusiasts may also find Japan cruises in 2027 and Princess Japan and Southeast Asia sailings for 2027–2028 useful comparisons. Prices on these routes start from £262 pp*.

We are ABTA- and ATOL-protected and rated 4.5/5 on Trustpilot from over 7,000 reviews. If you want to talk through an itinerary before committing, our cruise experts are on hand — no commitment needed, just a conversation with someone who knows these ships and these routes.

*Prices are per person based on 2 people sharing, and are subject to change. This price is not kept up to date and therefore does not reflect live pricing and availability. Prices and any discounts shown were checked on 14 October 2026.
