Dining

Voyager of the Seas has the sort of dining line-up that keeps a family or mixed-age group happy all week. Chops Grille brings classic steakhouse style with hand-cut meat and polished service, while Giovanni’s Table offers rustic Italian comfort in a relaxed setting. Izumi adds sushi and Asian-inspired dishes for something lighter and more vibrant, and Windjammer handles breakfast and lunch with plenty of range. The Main Dining Room remains a dependable evening favourite, and quick options around the ship help between activities. What makes Voyager especially likeable is that it feels varied without becoming overwhelming, so you can enjoy proper choice while still getting that easy, familiar Royal Caribbean rhythm from the first day onboard.

Entertainment & Things to Do

Voyager of the Seas has a lively, energetic personality and a very good mix of classic Royal Caribbean thrills. You can surf on the FlowRider, take on the Rock Climbing Wall and head to the ice rink for a skate or one of the ship’s dazzling ice-skating spectaculars. The entertainment programme keeps evenings busy, while the ship’s public spaces make it easy to dip in and out of bars, lounges and family activities without feeling rushed. It is the kind of ship that gives you enough action to stay excited, but still leaves room for proper holiday downtime. For many guests, that balance is exactly why Voyager continues to be such a dependable crowd-pleaser.

Ideal for

Voyager of the Seas is ideal for families, couples and groups who want a cruise that feels fun, sociable and well rounded. It works especially well for guests who want recognisable Royal Caribbean favourites like FlowRider, ice shows and speciality dining, but do not necessarily need the scale of the very biggest ships. Families with school-age children tend to find plenty to love here, while couples can easily carve out quieter moments in the ship’s restaurants, lounges and outdoor areas. It is also a strong option for first-time cruisers who want a good-value ship with plenty going on. Voyager feels established, polished and very easy to recommend.

Useful information

Voyager of the Seas is part of Royal Caribbean’s Voyager Class and offers a comfortable middle ground between older, smaller ships and the line’s giant newer vessels. Accommodation includes Interior, Ocean View, Balcony and Suite categories, giving guests a broad spread of price points. The ship’s layout is straightforward and practical, with major entertainment and dining venues spread in a way that feels manageable rather than sprawling. Wi-Fi and app-based planning tools help streamline the onboard experience, and the overall atmosphere is upbeat without being chaotic. For UK cruisers who want a mainstream family-friendly ship with proven appeal, Voyager of the Seas still looks like a smart and versatile choice in 2026.

Destinations

Voyager of the Seas is marketed across warm-weather and culture-rich itineraries, currently highlighting Mediterranean and Western Caribbean appeal. That makes it a flexible choice for UK cruisers, whether you are looking for a fly-cruise with beach days or a more port-intensive holiday with historic cities and scenic coastlines. The ship’s personality suits both styles nicely because it offers enough onboard fun to make sea days worthwhile, while still feeling comfortable on itinerary-led cruises. If you want a ship that can support a proper sunshine escape or a more classic Mediterranean adventure, Voyager of the Seas gives you a strong, all-purpose Royal Caribbean option.

Expert thoughts about Voyager of the Seas

On Voyager of the Seas, I recommend booking Studio B ice shows early, as seating capacity is limited. I also suggest choosing cabins near the Royal Promenade for quicker access to dining and entertainment throughout the day.

Advantages

The ship was amazing, the food was incredible, the staff were wonderful.

Weak Points

Would have liked more info from Royal Carribean beforehand about necessary clothing for some of the activites - we weren't able to do some activites as we didn't have the correct clothing or footwear. Too late to find this out once we're on the boat!
