Tour Itinerary
‣ Day 1
‣ Fly UK to Colombo, Sri Lanka (overnight)
‣ Day 2
‣ Arrive in Colombo. Your guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Time permitting dinner will be arranged at the hotel (D)
‣ Day 3
Today enjoy a Galle Heritage tour, including the Dutch Fort and church (c.1752), street markets and other colonial outposts. (B,D)
‣ Day 4
‣ After breakfast set off on a scenic journey to Yalla Leopard Sanctuary, visiting Anhagama stilted fishing village en route for a photo stop (weather dependant). In the afternoon, enjoy a sunset safari in an open top Jeep with naturalist driver (B,D)
‣ Day 5
‣ After breakfast you travel to Nuwara Eliya hill-station, known as Little England, stopping at Ella Gap and Ravana Waterfalls en route. Rest of the day at leisure (B, D)
‣ Day 6
‣ Nuwara Eliya tour - The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. Then on to Kandy UNESCO City and Tea Plantations to explore and afternoon visit to the Buddhist Tooth Relic Temple.The temple of the tooth relic of Lord Buddha, is the pride of Buddhists in Sri Lanka and world-over.(B, D)
‣ Day 7
‣ Today journey to UNESCO heritage town of Dambulla visiting the Spice & Herb gardens of Sri Lanka en route. You will learn about the history of Sri Lanka's legendary spice production and have an opportunity to purchase some to take home! This afternoon you arrive at Sigiriya Rock to climb the rock fortress. Note: We balance the intensity of your hike depending on your health conditions on-spot. (B, D)
