Sail into Fiji and visit ports such as Suva which is built around a reef protected natural harbour and home to colonial buildings, sprawling parks and the interesting Fiji Museum and its surrounding Thurston Gardens. Lautoka is Fiji's second largest city and is known as the 'Sugar City' due to its surrounding lush sugarcane fields - visit one of its bustling markets to mingle with locals and pick up bargains on local jewellery, garments and Indian sweets.
