CABIN TYPES

From ocean suites and family-friendly connecting staterooms to ocean residences with Butler Services, Explora I offers luxury accommodation at every level. With 529 suites to choose from, guests can enjoy a variety of options that suit any and every need. Suites can accommodate up to 4 guests depending on the category and accessible options, such as a roll-in shower and widened entrance doors, are available if necessary. All suites include a lounge area, mini bar, coffee and tea maker, television and a walk-in wardrobe.

• Ocean Suites – Deluxe amenities that feature floor-to-ceiling windows and a private sun terrace with an option to upgrade to an oceanfront terrace with an outdoor dining area (approx. 377 sq. ft.)

• Ocean Penthouses – Upgraded accommodation including an oceanfront terrace with an outdoor dining area and daybed plus private Butler Service (ranges from 463 sq. ft. - 646 sq. ft.)  

• Ocean Residences – Luxurious accommodation including an oceanfront terrace with an outdoor whirlpool, dining area and daybed plus private Butler Service (ranges from 258 sq. ft. - 1,604 sq. ft.) 

• Owner’s Residence – Opulent accommodation including a private outdoor whirlpool and shower set on an oceanfront terrace plus complimentary 24-hour Butler Service and a bottle of Dom Pérignon upon arrival (approx. 3,014 sq. ft.)

Though solo and single passengers are welcome, cabins are intended for double occupancy, therefore a charge will be incurred for those travelling alone. Though Explora I specialises in alternative entertainment and events, guests looking for traditional cruise offerings will be pleased with classic venues and entertainment such as a casino, movie screenings, various live music events and fully equipped spa and salon facilities. If you wish to smoke onboard, smoking is permitted in designated areas within the Observation Lounge located at the Whisky Bar.

DESTINATIONS

After Explora I debuts in summer 2023, the luxury ship will sail across the Atlantic in route to iconic American destinations such as New York and Boston as well as stunning visits to the Canadian coastline. Following these transatlantic sailings, she will move south to cruise across the Caribbean region in autumn 2023; island destinations include Saint Kitts, the British Virgin Islands and Martinique. Explora I will remain in the Caribbean region until spring 2024 where she will move towards the Pacific Northwest visiting popular destinations such as Los Angelos and Cabo San Lucas.

When is the maiden voyage scheduled for Explora I?

The maiden voyage of Explora I is scheduled for 17 July 2023 and will sail from Southampton journeying throughout Northern Europe across a 15-night cruise. 

Are children allowed onboard Explora I?

Yes, children are allowed onboard Explora I. During regularly scheduled school holidays, Explora I offers a children’s programme, Young Explorers, which caters to children under the age of 18. There are also inter-connecting suites available on the ship that offer family accommodation.

Is there a dress code onboard Explora I?

There is no dress code onboard Explora, though it is suggested to adhere to typical resort attire.  

Are there formal nights onboard Explora I?

No, there are no formal nights onboard Explora I, therefore, no formal wear rental service will be available.
