Launched in 1998, Grand Princess is one of the first ships in the Princess cruise fleet. At one time, it was the largest ship on the sea. It has since been surpassed in size by modern mega-ships, but at 109,000 tons and 951 feet with a maximum capacity of 3,100 passengers, the Grand-class ship is still pretty impressive in size.
