Marella Voyager started life as the ‘MV Mercury’ in 1997. Sailing as part of the Celebrity Cruises fleet until 2011, Voyager transferred to TUI to become the ‘Mein Schiff 2’. Refit in 2023, the Marella Voyager has joined the popular Marella Cruises line.

Voyager’s makeover is more than just a name change. Her revamp combines firm favourites from the family-forward brand with new dining options exclusive to the Marella Voyager. As well as the sizzling new restaurants - ‘Abuela’s’ and ‘Silver Fork’ , guests can expect West-End quality entertainment, kids clubs to keep cruisers of all ages happy and an eclectic mix of bars, activities and live music.
DINING
Marella cruises are famed for their eclectic eats - and the Marella Voyager certainly delivers. As well as Marella speciality staples - such as the pan-Asian speciality restaurant Kora La, there are new restaurants exclusive to the Marella Voyager. British classics get a modern twist at the all-new speciality restaurant, ‘Silver Fork’. ‘Abuela’s’ is the fleet’s only Mexican eatery and ‘The Kitchens’ brings a new food hall experience to Marella Voyager. Of course, the firm family favourite - Nonna’s, is still THE place to tuck in to a made-to-order pizza and Latitude 53 is the venue to mix sparkling sea views with a classic British menu.
ENTERTAINMENT AND THINGS TO DO
Marella Voyager’s Broadway Show Lounge brings West-End theatre quality productions to the ocean. Themed bars, a plush indoor cinema and glittering nightclub and casino provide plenty of evening entertainment. Though, by far the most popular is the British-themed Squid & Anchor pub. Grab a table to enjoy quizzes, live music and interactive game shows.By day, the spa, pool, gym and jogging track add wellness options to mix, making Marella Voyager a ship you can unwind, workout or try something new on.
CABIN TYPES
From inside cabins to Marella Voyager’s glamorous Voyager Suite Cabin, the ship’s focus is on family. The option to use fold down beds starts with the smaller inside cabins - offering value for money for families with little ones. And, as you add extras and upgrades - such as a spacious balcony cabin, the options for families continue. Sofa beds and extra space make daily life aboard a little more luxurious.
IDEAL FOR
Marella Voyager specialises in family cruises. Marella’s popular Mini M Club is packed with games for tiny tots, with activities on hand for older children and teens in the console-packed ‘Hideout’. Families can meet up for a round of crazy golf or sail happily knowing the kids are busy having fun. Marella’s Family Cabin - which sleeps up to 5 people, is a spacious alternative to the ship’s inside cabins with fold down beds.
DESTINATIONS
Marella Voyager cruises will summer in the Mediterranean, and winter in the tropics. Soak up the sun in St Lucia, St Vincent and Grenada, or explore the British Virgin Islands and Aruba.
