Syracuse is a city on the east coast of the Italian region of Sicily. It is the capital of the province of Syracuse and has just over 123 000 inhabitants.

The small port town of Nafplio is situated on the Greek Peloponnese Peninsula. Briefly, it was even capital of Greece. Visitors should see the Vouleftikon, the location of Greece's first parliament.
