The Hardanger fjord is about 160 km long and lies on the southwestern coast of the Atlantic in Norway. The island is in the middle of the fjord Varaldsøy. The province around the Hardanger fjord is county of Hordaland. The deepest part of the Hardanger fjord is 725 m deep.

Seydisfjordur is well known for its old wooden buildings and has remnants of urban street configurations within its urban fabric. Moreover it is surrounded by mountains on all sides.

Eyjafjörður is the longest fjord in Iceland and is located in the central north of the country. The fjord is long and narrow and measures 60 km from mouth to bottom. The region of Eyjafjörður is Iceland's second most populous one after the Capital Region in Southwest Iceland. The total population of the region is approximately 24,000. The scenic fjord is surrounded by hills and mountains on both sides and makes for idyllic sightseeing. Many rivers flow into Eyjafjörður, the most significant being Eyjafjarðará, Fnjóská and Hörgá.

The fishing village Grundarfjöður is located on the Snaefellsnes penninsula and is surrounded by a diverse landscape. Here you can find volcanoes, glaciers, lava and rock formations as well as various bird species.

Nuuk is the capital of Greenland, which politically belongs to Denmark but is also subject to self-government. The town is the largest of Greenland with approximately 18 000 inhabitants.

Qaqortoq is the largest city in South Greenland. Near the harbor is the oldest fountain in the country. In addition, there are some old buildings from the colonial period.

Runavík is a comparatively urbanised village in Runavík Municipality, Faroe Islands. Founded in 1916, Runavík has an important port.

The small tranquil town of Invergordon is the starting point for many trips. Embark on a quest to Loch Ness or marvel at the fairytale-like castles of Dunrobin and Urquhart. The ruins of the once largest fortress of Scotland are one of the most frequented sites among tourists. With a bit of luck, you may also be able to spot some dolphins in the Bay of Invergordon.

South Queensferry is situated on the banks of the Firth of Forth, not far from Edinburgh. Due to the favorable position of the Scottish town, a visit to Edinburgh is a must. Also in South Queensferry, there are some attractions. The Black Castle, The Tolbooth, St Mary's Church and the two bridges Forth Bridge and Forth Road Bridge are worth seeing.
