The Russian polar station Barentsburg is located on the ice fjord in Svalbard. It also serves as a housing estate for the coal mining industry. In spring and autumn, tourists can explore the site with snowmobiles.

Zadar is a vibrant port city in southern Croatia. This charming old town, which offers fascinating historical treasures and a great view of the sea, is surrounded by Venetian walls.
