Shimizu is a small town of 10,000 in the Hokkaido Prefecture. The town lies at the foot of the highest mountain in Japan, Mount Fujiyama, and offers a magnificent view of the summit. The city is located on Honshu, the main Japanese island. Do not miss the temple, located on the mountainside.

Kobe is the fifth-largest city in Japan and is the capital of HonshuHyōgo Prefecture on the southern side of the main island of Honshū. The nearby Mount Rokko is ideal for hiking. The city has various museums, many Asian temples and picturesque parks where you can spend your leisure time. From the city tower platform (90-meter-high) you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the city, the sea and the whole region.

Tokushima is the capital city of Tokushima Prefecture on Shikoku Island in Japan. Every August, during the Obon Festival, Tokushima holds a cultural dance festival, the Awa Odori.

The Kanmon Straits or Straits of Shimonoseki is the stretch of water separating two of Japan's four main islands.

With its beautiful scenery - hotsprings, mountains in the background and sea at the front, Beppu attracts many tourists each year. Visit the Takasakiyama Monkey Park, or the Otobaru Waterfall. For the more adventurous, there is the Wonder Rakutenchi amusement park as well as the Firework Festival which takes place in late July.
