Kavala is a city in northern Greece with about 74 000 inhabitants. It is a commercial port city and has been the twin city of Nuremberg since 1998. Sights worth seeing in Kavala are the two-storied aqueduct (ancient water pipe) from the the time of the Romans and the citadel of the 16th Century.

Dikili is a Turkish town, which belongs to the province of Izmir and is located about 100km north of the city of Izmir. The town itself is a popular swimming destination for locals. The main attraction is the nearby Pergamon, an ancient city located on a plateau.

Kusadasi lies on the Turkish Aegean coast with about 59,000 inhabitants. Numerous sandy beaches are located in and around Kusadasi. The highlight of Kusadasi is, without doubt, the ruins of Ephesus. One of the oldest, largest and most important cities of Asia Minor, is located there. Kusadasi has an electric nightlife with the aegean party scene along with irish pubs and multilingual tours.

The island of Patmos belongs to Greece and only has about 3000 inhabitants. You can visit the Monastery of St. John, that is on the highest hill of the island.
