The capital of Thailand is famous for its mixture of old and new. Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam's largest city. Until 1975, the city was known under the name Saigon. Ho Chi Minh City is located north of the Mekong Delta on the west bank of the Saigon River. There are attractions such as the Reunification Palace, the French-built 'Notre Dame' Cathedral, as well as numerous theaters and parks. The Reunification Palace is widely seen as a symbol of the end of the war and guided tours of the palace are highly recommended. Ben Thanh Market is an ideal spot for trying authentic Vietnamese cuisine and local crafts.

The Chan May seaport is one of the emerging cities in Vietnam. The market floating on the Cho Han river is one of the recommended sites to visit. There, owners get to trade a variety of sea pets. The marble mountains are located on the opposite side of the Han River and are an impressive sight which you are certain to enjoy. Another interesting feature of the mountains is that from the right perspective, at dusk, the surrounding mountains resemble huge elephants.
