A 10 night cruise sits in a sweet spot: long enough to cross an ocean or island-hop in earnest, short enough to fit inside a fortnight’s annual leave. Sailings run from Florida to Japan, from the western Mediterranean to Alaska, on lines ranging from mainstream to ultra-luxury — and prices start at £458 pp*. Browse the full range of cruises or read on to find out where these voyages go, which ships sail them, and how to put the whole holiday together.
The range is wider than most people expect. The Caribbean leads the mix, with Florida departures heading into the islands, followed closely by the western and eastern Mediterranean. Japan cruises make up a strong third strand, with sailings disembarking in Tokyo among others. Alaska and Southeast Asia feature too, as does Australia. Here is how the destinations break down:
The Caribbean is the most popular destination among these sailings. Most depart from Florida — specifically Miami and Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades), which are about half an hour apart, so it is worth checking both for dates and prices. Norwegian Cruise Line and Princess Cruises both offer strong Caribbean programmes here, with a mix of round trips and one-way itineraries. If your sailing is one-way, you will need a flight home; we can book that alongside hotels and transfers so nothing is left loose.
The western Mediterranean and eastern Mediterranean together account for a large share of the sailings in this duration. Many embark from Barcelona or Rome (Civitavecchia), with disembarkations including Piraeus (Athens). If you are joining in Barcelona or Rome, we can book your flights from the UK, a hotel the night before, and transfers to the port — all in one booking. Check out Mediterranean cruises in 2027 if you want to narrow the search further.
10 nights is a useful length for Japan — enough time to take in a string of ports without rushing. Sailings on this itinerary often disembark in Tokyo. Princess Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line both have a presence here. Flying to Japan for a cruise makes this the middle chapter of a longer trip, and our team can put flights, pre-cruise hotels in Tokyo and transfers together as one holiday.
Alaska sailings at this length give you time to explore glacier country properly. Departures tend to be from US ports on the west coast, including San Francisco. As with Japan, you will fly to the embarkation port, and we handle that alongside the cruise booking.
Southeast Asia sailings — often passing through or departing from Singapore — suit travellers combining a cruise with time in the region. Central America itineraries pair well with a Caribbean crossing. And for those heading to Australia, 10 nights is a natural fit for coastal itineraries departing from Sydney. Our Australia cruises from the UK page has more on putting that trip together.
A small but genuine proportion of these sailings depart from British ports — Southampton in particular. If you board at Southampton, you can get there by road or rail with no airport at either end of the holiday. That is worth considering if you prefer to skip the flight entirely. The United Kingdom region covers round-Britain routes for those who want to stay closer to home.
Norwegian Cruise Line, MSC Cruises and Princess Cruises lead the field by volume of sailings. Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Oceania Cruises are strongly represented in the luxury and premium segments. Celebrity Cruises rounds out the mainstream premium options. Azamara, Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Line also have sailings at this length.
MSC Sinfonia is a Lirica-class ship at 65,542 GT — compact enough to call at smaller harbours that larger ships cannot access. On deck you’ll find a top-deck water park with slides, and the Aurea Spa with thermal suite. The Teatro San Carlo hosts Broadway-style shows, while dedicated LEGO and Chicco zones give families a proper anchor on board. Explore MSC Sinfonia cabins and deck plans before you book.
Cabin grades on MSC Sinfonia include:
From Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Seven Seas Grandeur is built around an all-inclusive luxury model — described by the line as the most inclusive luxury experience at sea, with generous space ratios throughout. The Seven Seas Grandeur cabins and deck plans page shows the full layout, including the Regent Suite at 352.7 m² of living space and a 120 m² private terrace — more outdoor room than many apartments ashore.
MSC Magnifica offers the MSC Aurea Spa with a salt grotto and Kneipp circuit, a Royal Theatre seating 1,200 for Broadway-calibre productions, and a 4D cinema. The MSC Yacht Club gives a private-ship-within-a-ship feel: exclusive sundeck, pool, dedicated restaurant and 24/7 butler service. See the full range on the MSC Magnifica cabins and deck plans page. Grades run from:
Oceania’s Allura entered service in 2025, making it one of the newest ships in this set of sailings. Every cabin and suite comes with a private balcony, and the ship brings a small-ship, intimate feel alongside wellness-inspired menus at brand-new dining venues. Oceania Cruises also sails Marina on 10 night itineraries. Marina carries 6 gourmet restaurants — from Polo Grill and Toscana to Jacques and Red Ginger — all included with no surcharges, plus the only cooking school at sea, with hands-on classes from professional chefs. The crew-to-guest ratio of nearly 1-to-1 delivers hotel-style service throughout.
Norwegian Star is notable for its Garden Villas, private suites with their own courtyards of up to 548 m², a private pool and sun deck — NCL’s most distinctive luxury offering at sea. Elsewhere the Mandara Spa offers a thermal suite and therapy pool, and the adults-only Spice H2O deck has six hot tubs and a cocktail bar. Freestyle Dining covers a steakhouse, French restaurant, sushi bar and Brazilian churrascaria, with no fixed sittings and no dress code. Check Norwegian Star cabins and deck plans to find the right grade. Norwegian Cruise Line also sails Norwegian Dawn on 10 night itineraries; see Norwegian Dawn cabins and deck plans for the full deck layout. For an all-inclusive Norwegian cruise, see all-inclusive Norwegian fjords cruises in 2027.
What is covered varies significantly by line and fare tier — and choosing well here can save you a significant amount on board.
Our team can walk you through which tier suits your style before you commit — that is exactly what booking with a specialist is for.
Prices start at £458 pp* for a 10 night sailing, though the range is wide depending on the region, the ship and the cabin grade. Many sailings carry a discount from their previously listed price — up to 44% on a single departure, with most discounted sailings reduced by around 10%. A large proportion of sailings are all-inclusive or carry bundled fare packages, which affects how you should compare headline prices. When you call our team, they can set the numbers side by side so you see the real cost of each option. For a shorter break to compare against, see our 5 night cruises, 4 night cruises or 3 night cruises.
Both shapes appear in the 10 night range. Round trips return you to the same port you left from. One-way itineraries — which form a significant portion of the sailings here — end at a different port, which means you will need a flight home. That is not a complication if you book through us: we can arrange the return flight, a hotel at either end, and transfers, all on one booking, so neither leg is left for you to sort separately.
Most 10 night sailings at this length depart from overseas ports — Florida, Barcelona, Rome, Athens, Tokyo — so your cruise is the centrepiece of a longer trip. As cruise specialists, our team can put together a Cruise1st Package with flights from any UK airport, hotels on either side, tours, transfers and insurance, all in one place. If you do find a sailing from Southampton, you can board by road or rail with no airport involved at all. Either way, we help you choose the cabin grade and fare tier that suits you, and put everything on a single booking. We are ABTA and ATOL protected, and rated 4.5/5 on Trustpilot from over 7,000 reviews.
If 10 nights is not quite right, you might consider 13 night cruises, 11 night cruises, or a longer 14 night Caribbean cruise. For a Mediterranean voyage at a similar length, 14 day Mediterranean cruises are worth a look, including 14 day Mediterranean cruises from Southampton if you prefer to avoid flying. The full cruises from the UK section covers all lengths departing British ports.
*Prices are per person based on 2 people sharing, and are subject to change. This price is not kept up to date and therefore does not reflect live pricing and availability. Prices and any discounts shown were checked on 14 October 2026.
Where a discount is shown, it is a reduction from the price previously listed for that cabin grade on that sailing, not a comparison between cabin grades or against a brochure rate. Discounts and prices shown are not kept up to date: the reduction available now may be smaller, or may have ended, and prices may have changed.
