One of the largest passenger ships in the world, Navigator of the Seas weighs a magnificent 138,000 tons and measures 1,020 feet long. Launched in 2002, Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas takes 3,114 passengers to exotic destinations like the Western Caribbean, Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East, and Africa year round.
Navigator of the Seas Recreation
Navigator of the Seas is identical in design and amenities to its sister ship, Mariner of the Seas. With so much onboard entertainment and recreation, you may not want to leave the ship. The ship's design in itself is a marvel with beautiful glass construction and an $8.5 million art collection that consists of 2,213 beautiful pieces. During the day, enjoy the ship's multiple pools and whirlpools, including an adults-only pool area in the ship's Solarium. Stay active with an onboard jogging track; outdoor sports deck with mini-golf and a golf simulator; thalassotherapy pool; full-size sports court for basketball, paddle ball and volleyball; an ice skating rink; an in-line skating rink; and the famous Royal Caribbean rock climbing wall 200 feet over the sea. The ship's spa features a full salon, massage rooms, and a complete list of spa services.
In the evening, a Broadway-style review is performed in the ship's gorgeous 5-story theatre, and Studio B, the onboard ice rink, presents an ice show. This family-friend ship also features over 22,000 square feet of space dedicated to youths, including a teen lounge, nightclub, computer stations, and activity facilities for younger kids. There's plenty of fun for adults, too, with multiple bars and lounges as well as Vegas-style Casino Royale. Stroll the giant mall-like Royal Promenade to visit shops, people-watch, or enjoy a parade.
Navigator of the Seas Food
Royal Caribbean cruises are known for catering to all tastes when it comes to food choices. Navigator of the Seas is no exception. If standard cruise fare is your cup of tea, dine in the elegant three-story main dining room for open seating during breakfast and lunch or more formal seating at dinner. Casual dining is available in the Windjammer Cafe for a breakfast or lunch buffet. Cafe Promenade is the spot for a quick breakfast or a snack. Specialty dining options feature even more choices for a slight fee: Johnny Rockets for burgers and fries; Portofino Restaurant for gourmet Italian cuisine; or Chops Grille for a steakhouse ambiance. If relaxation is on the agenda for the day, have breakfast, a snack, or a limited menu from the dining room delivered to your stateroom via 24-hour room service.
