This morning, enjoy spectacular scenery as you drive into the Rocky Mountains towards Banff National Park. En route, witness stunning glaciers, snow-capped peaks and the shimmering emerald waters of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Along the way, stop for photos and head to the Rockpile for gorgeous views at Moraine Lake. In the evening, enjoy at your leisure and stay overnight in Banff (BB).
‣ Rocky Mountaineer – Banff – Kamloops
In the morning, transfer to Banff Station to board the Rocky Mountaineer train at Banff Station departing at 7:30am MT. En route, enjoy impressive scenery as you travel between the glacier and snow-covered peaks of the Canadian Rockies and along craggy lakeshores. Witness highlights including the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass, and Craigellachie. Arrive in Kamloops between 6:30pm and 8:00pm PT and then spend the evening at leisure. All Kamloops hotels are of moderate standard and exact hotel will be assigned post-booking (B, L).
‣ Rocky Mountaineer – Kamloops – Vancouver
Reboard the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station at 7:35am PT. Journeying west, see striking changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the Interior to the winding river canyons and pristine forests of the Cascade Mountains. Highlights include dramatic slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Afterwards, arrive in Vancouver between 6:00pm and 7:30pm PT and upon arrival, meet with your guide for your hotel transfer for an overnight stay (B, L).
‣ Vancouver – Seattle
After breakfast, enjoy an introductory tour of Vancouver including Stanley Park, Gastown and Chinatown, then cross the border into the U.S. and finish the day in Seattle for an overnight stay (BB).
