‣ CUSCO (B)
In the morning, your comprehensive city tour includes the beautiful Koricancha or Sun Temple, the Cathedral as well as the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, a most remarkable Inca building, the amphitheater of Kenko. This is followed by a visit to Puca Pucara, a strategically located 'red fortress' that dominates the entire area before visiting Tambomachay, with its two distinctive aqueducts that to this day continue to provide clean water to the area.
Rest of the afternoon free at leisure.
‣ CUSCO - PUNO (B,L)
A ten-hour road trip takes you through picturesque Andean landscapes dotted by small villages and herds of llamas and vicunas to your final destination Puno.
You visit the famous church of Andahuaylillas, built in the 17th century by the Jesuits. Due to its wall and ceiling frescoes it is also known as the 'Sistine Chapel of the Andes'. Then you stop at Raqchi to visit the Viracocha Temple. This was the only Inca temple where clay was used in addition to stone as building material. The most impressive features are the cylindrical columns covered by fine clay layers. From the La Raya pass (4,335 m/ 14,172 ft) you enjoy a panoramic view of the snow-capped Andes. Lunch at local restaurant is included. Arrival at your hotel in Puno.
‣ PUNO (B,L)
Your excursion by speed boat starts with a visit to one of the floating reed islands of the Uros before heading to iIsland of weavers Taquile. Unlike in the classic tour, this option offers a reduced time en route (e.g. 75 min from Taquile to Puno versus 2 hrs 30 min aboard the traditional boat) making your experience in the lake more pleasant. Your boat tour includes a meal prepared with local fish and fresh produce from the Andes. (excursion by boat together with other travelers but with private guide on board)
‣ PUNO - LIMA (B)
At the agreed time after breakfast you will be met at the lobby hotel and transferred to Juliaca’s airport. En route short visit of the burial towers in Sillustani. The engineering involved in their construction challenge the low of gravity; the diameter at the top is larger than the diameter at the base. Sillustani is partially encircled by Umayo Lake, offering us a beautiful landscape. We then join a local family from Sillustani in their courtyard to learn more about their lifestyle, Andean crops and traditions.
Upon arrival in Lima, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Lima. Rest of the remaining day is free at leisure to explore the city.
 LIMA (B)
In the morning, your sightseeing tour explores the modern districts of Lima and its historic center, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988. As you wander the main plaza and Plaza San Martin it is hard not to wonder about its diverse architecture. Your guide will introduce you to the city’s architectural heritage. You then proceed to Santo Domingo Monastery boasting fine carved choir stalls, the oldest of Lima. It was here that San Marcos University, the first in South America, was founded in 1551. Your next stop is at the Larco Herrera Museum. The collection allows the understanding of 3,000 years of the Peruvian pre-Columbian history in an intuitive way. Its masterpieces are considered worldwide icons of pre-Inca art and have been displayed in the world's most renowned museums. Rest of the afternoon free at leisure.
‣ LIMA - SANTIAGO (B)
At the agreed time after breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your international flight to our next destination, Santiago de Chile.
Welcome to Chile! Upon arrival in Santiago, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
‣ SANTIAGO (B)

You will take the modern cable car up the San Cristobal hill while enjoying the stunning views of the city and of the green recreational area below. After a 10-minute ride, you will reach the top of San Cristobal hill where you will be met with spectacular panoramic views over Santiago cityscape and the breathtaking Andes mountain range in the distance. On clear days you will get a great sense of the sheer magnitude of this metropolis. Take a look at the iconic landmark statue of the Virgin Mother Mary watching over the city before descending the hill with the cable car. Then you will be driven to the historic part of Santiago for a short walking tour, which takes you to ‘La Moneda’ - the seat of the president of Chile, the former national congress, the 18th-century cathedral and the main square with its colonial buildings.
