NCL Breakaway Class

The Breakaway Class fleet was born in 2013 when the Norwegian Breakaway was constructed. The Norwegian Breakaway is the first ship in the Breakaway Class followed by the Norwegian Getaway, then the Norwegian Escape in 2015. The biggest ship in the fleet is the Norwegian Escape.

These ships are full of activities and entertainment for Adults and Children; they are quite similar as they have the same style in design. The Norwegian Breakaway has up to 29 dining experiences, including three new, dedicated seafood venues. The Breakaway has dazzling Broadway performances like Rock & Ages, Burn the Floor and Cirque dreams; this is the best ship out of the fleet for entertainment. Since 2013 it has changed and it is now known for one of the best ships for families to go on cruise holidays as well as the Getaway.

The Norwegian Escape is known to be one of the best ships for attractions as it has a huge variety of activities for children and adults. It is recommended for both adults and children as it evens the odds out with fun waterslides for the children and pleasurable relaxation spas for the adults and much more.

The Relaxation and Fitness Side

The life onboard a Breakaway class ship is full of different relaxations and desires, take the Spa Salt Room for one, this would be recommended for adults as you are able to improve respiratory, skin ailments and aid in overall wellness. Not to worry if you have children aboard, the Breakaway Class fleet have kid’s clubs to keep the children entertained along with a kid’s Aqua park, so whilst the adults are relaxing in one of the spas or even taking in the sun looking at the beautiful view on top deck, your children could be having the time of their lives splashing away.

If you’re a fitness fanatic and still want to work out whilst on your cruise holiday there is an amazing fitness centre for each ship so you can release stress or even if you want to keep up with your day-to-day routine. If you’re thinking about what to do during evenings and night times, why not head down to the entourage where you can spend time with the whole family relaxing and watching films. If you are in your teen years, then the Entourage is mainly recommended for you as it provides a safe area to hang out, socialise and make friends through video games, art-work, dance floors and much more.

Live Entertainment

Once the sun has set, the musical performances come alive as they have a huge variety of entertainment-like comedy shows in the headliners comedy club, or the Howl of the moon where you can request your own music and sing along with everyone, this is a great way of meeting new people and having the time you deserve. With all the entertainment onboard, you are sure to have a great time, from dancing to singing, from laughter to wine lovers, it’s all there for you.
